We were a little nervous before arriving after reading some of the reviews, but we've had an amazing stay. We booked a Junior Suite with a private pool, and it was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean. Having our own pool was a real luxury, and the sea view made it even more special. The food has been varied and consistently delicious—I’ve even discovered a new love for pork! Every member of staff has been friendly and welcoming, and the grounds are well maintained and kept very clean. There are ants around the resort, but we haven't had any in our room. A few areas look a little tired, but that's only to be expected given how many guests the hotel welcomes. No place is perfect, and people will always find something to complain about if they're looking for it. We did have one issue during our stay. Although it wasn't resolved immediately by reception, the manager dealt with it as soon as they became aware of it, which we really appreciated. My only regret is not bringing some euros so we could tip the staff—they deserve it. We would definitely return and would highly recommend paying a little extra for a room with a private pool. It was absolutely worth it.
I was a little worried as saw some bad reviews on here before we booked but I was pleasantly surprised at how good the hotel was. Were a family of 5 with kids aged 7-11 First off the location is beautiful. Pools were a good size. We had the private pool with ocean view which the kids loved. Buffet food served excellent salads and food overall was very good. A very big selection and something different every night. A few cats by the outside seating area which the kids like too. We didn't leave the hotel as didn't intend to, there's not much out there. Kids scored it 9out of 10 and want to go back.
Aside from the staff, who were always super nice and helpful, there's not much else to say that hasn't been said already. It's pretty much an all-inclusive tourist trap. So, if you're expecting a 5-star hotel but are okay with 2-star quality, then sure, come here. The website photos don't show what it's really like. I stayed in a topfloor room with a pool view, but I don't think the other rooms are much different when you look at the amenities. Every morning at 10 am, i was forced to listen to blasting techno music coming from the animation personal in the pool. It reminded me the movie "Good morning Vietnam" but worse. There's a lot of stuff that's broken, old, taped up, worn out... you get the idea. The food was diversed which made it possible to create healthy meals. There was a lot of crap but also good food (still not 5 start quality). The best thing about the hotel is that it's right next to 2 kiteboarding centers, which means if you're a kitesurfer, you can get an all-inclusive kiteboarding week with awesome conditions. It's a shame the beach is so dirty (among other things). It would make a huge difference if they cleaned it up. To sum it up: If you're looking for a kitesurf trip at a great price, just go for it. But if you want a quiet week with your family and 5-star service, you might want to think twice.
Came here as a last minute 5 day get away with a friend and must admit was a bit cautious at first because of the reviews but absolutely loved it. Yes the entertainment is very much directed at the French but it didn’t bother us at all. Might have been different if we had kids. Rooms were spotless. Staff were friendly. No life guards at the pool where we stayed. Just a pool guy that came round once in morning and once in the evening to tidy beds up. Pools lovely and clean. Food was always spot on. Snacks and ice cream and drinks all available throughout the day just help your self and some lovely walks. Walked every morning and night to feed Mario’s the donkey an apple. Hired a bike and did a few long bike rides sweets etc in the onsite shop where pretty expensive. Much cheaper in the little shops in the village at top of road but it’s a good 20 minute walk. Sunset was magic every evening. Gorgeous little spot. we would definitely return as would everyone that we met there. Not one person had a complaint. There is a lot of cats roaming around if you don’t feed them they soon go away apparently, I wouldn’t know as I kept feeding them and had many friends for the 5 days 🥰
