The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the pool and bar area is spacious and very enjoyable. However, the staff, especially at reception, were not very welcoming, and the hotel is quite noisy. There aren't enough elevators, and the food was average in a rather dated dining room

We recently stayed at Hotel Mercè in Pineda de Mar on a half-board basis and overall had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel is in a great location, around a 10–15 minute walk from both the beach and the train station,and only a short walk to local bars, cafes making it an excellent base for exploring the area. Our room was comfortable, with air conditioning, two single beds, a lovely balcony, and an excellent shower. It had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice, and dinner is also served as a buffet with a good selection of food. However, one disappointment was that no complimentary drinks are included with dinner—not even water. This is the first hotel I’ve stayed in where even water had to be purchased. A large bottle costs €3, which felt a little disappointing. The biggest area for improvement was the housekeeping. Our room often wasn’t cleaned until around 4 pm, which wasn’t ideal as we would have preferred it to be serviced earlier in the day. The cleaning itself could also have been better. Although the room was generally tidy, the bed sheets were never changed during our stay, despite visible marks on them.towels also wasn’t always refreshed even though we left them on the floor to be cleaned. The swimming pool was excellent—clean, well maintained, and a lovely place to relax. The only downside is that if you aren’t there when it opens, it’s very unlikely you’ll get a sunbed around the pool. Fortunately, this wasn’t an issue for us, as we preferred spending the morning by the pool before returning to our room in the early afternoon . We were always able to find somewhere comfortable to relax, but it’s worth bearing in mind if you’re hoping to spend the entire day by the pool. One of the highlights of the hotel is the excellent rooftop bar. It has a great atmosphere, a good selection of drinks, and very reasonable prices. There was also some live entertainment which was nice .During the day, guests can use the pool area toilets, but once the pool closes in the evening, these are no longer accessible, meaning you have to return to your room if you need the bathroom. It would be much more convenient if a toilet remained available in the rooftop bar area during the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The location, facilities, and friendly atmosphere make it a great choice. With a few small improvements to housekeeping, the dinner drink policy, and poolside sunbed availability, this could easily become an outstanding hotel. I hope this is a constructive review that could genuinely help the hotel improve

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mercè in Pineda de Mar and will definitely be returning! ​The entire hotel was absolutely spotless throughout our visit. The food was plentiful, varied, and genuinely tasty every single day. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was the gorgeous rooftop swimming pool area—relaxing on the sun loungers and comfortable bean bags up there was bliss. ​A big shoutout to the staff, who were extraordinarily friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. ​While our room was a bit on the small side, it was totally fine for our needs and certainly didn't take away from such a great experience. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay and would especially like to thank Marta and Josep for their outstanding kindness and support. My father has a disability, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a suitable accessible room and that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Their care and attention truly meant a lot to us. The hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms have been beautifully renovated, are very practical, and spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves very good food, and every member of the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel is also conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. We highly recommend it and would happily stay here again!
