Beautiful hotel, with many very helpful staff. Breakfast was extremely well organised, lots and lots to choose from. The bar was a bit pricey, but then it is a capital city, where isn’t! Our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean.

Everything at the hotel was top notch. The location of the hotel was excellent. As a Scandic Friend we should have been offered complimentary coffee but were denied. Now the downside - we got check in at 4:00pm (as per hotel policy) though there were rooms available. The hotel insisted on charging extra for it. I feel that if rooms are available you can give them a little early. The other downside is that the intercom does not work and you have to go to the reception to communicate. The biggest downside is the behavior of the staff. I misplaced my phone charger at the reception and instead of helping the staff asked me to go to the police station and file a complaint. Is it possible for anyone visiting a foreign country to go the police station for such a small thing instead of enjoying what the city has to offer.

This is a beautiful hotel, centrally located just beside the main train station. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated, giving a modern yet elegant vibe. We had a king room which was spacious, clean and quiet. The brasserie onsite offers delicious food and drinks at a reasonable price, and staff are quite friendly. The location is perfect for walking about or taking transit, with buses, trams and trains all right there. The only thing we’d wish for is coffee in the room. Otherwise an excellent stay and somewhere we’d return to if we’re ever back in Helsinki!
