Comfortable clean and modern hotel in good, quiet location for centre of Helsinki. Very good breakfasts and good restaurant. Very good sauna complex. Helpful and efficient staff.

​We checked in late in the evening after booking a standard room with a king bed, but our initial impression of the room was very disappointing. While the hotel has some strong points, the room setup and basic amenities fell short. ​The Critique: ​Misleading Room Assignment: Instead of a proper king bed, we were given two single beds pushed together. The room was extremely small and felt like a basement, featuring high glass windows well out of reach that offered zero view. We suspect we were assigned a "no view" category room despite what we booked. ​No Resolution for Room Change: When we brought this up to reception, we were told the hotel was fully booked, so no immediate change was possible, though they suggested we might be moved the following day. ​Lack of Basic Amenities: Standard basics were missing—even bottled water had to be purchased separately. ​The Positives: ​Outstanding Breakfast: To make up for the room issue, reception offered us complimentary breakfast for two the next morning. The breakfast spread was absolutely amazing and a real highlight of the stay. ​Modern Bathroom: The bathroom was beautiful, well-designed, and clean. ​Verdict: While the impressive breakfast and stylish bathroom helped soften the blow, being placed in a cramped, windowless-feeling room with joined single beds ruined the overall comfort of the stay.

We had a wonderful romantic stay at Scandic Helsinki Hub while celebrating our wedding anniversary. The hotel has a modern yet cozy atmosphere, and our room was stylish, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is perfect for exploring Helsinki on foot, with plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was clean, the breakfast was excellent with a great variety of options, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing city break or a romantic getaway.
