The hotel is perfectly located. The room was clean and cozy. I appreciate the water fountain on the floor and the carafe and glasses in the room to take advantage of this little amenity. The breakfast had a nice assortment of items. Finally, the cost was excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going the Gdansk.
Great location just on the outskirts of the old town with lots of attractions and museums within easy walking distance, but beware lots of cobblestones. Our welcome was friendly in both reception and the restaurant. The reception had a good area for relaxing in or to have a coffee or drink from the bar. We ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was to a high quality and delicious. Our room was spacious and had a high standard of house keeping. Each floor had a water dispenser for use with the in room carafe. The hotel also had a car park but it is very close to the station.
'Only' stayed here on a work trip (not my first Ibis, but my first in Poland) but the staff were brilliant. Doesn't it make you feel bad how the rest of the planet often has better English than you? But that's another thing entirely....... And the food? Not that I'm a massive foodie or anything, but since when did Ibis employ Michelin chefs? This is no Wetherspoons microwave malarkey (not that I'm knocking Spoons, as I've been to a LOT!), this is proper nosh, cooked by people who can work an actual cooker-ing thingy. Even though I'm a naughty boy and don't eat my greens, I reckon you omnivore types would love them. If you're full on Neanderthal like me, the meat side of things was spot on. Even the prices will keep my line manager from challenging my receipts! Top tip though......it's flipping cold if you get sent here in Winter! Be sensible - come in the summer! 😁
A first rate hotel in a perfect position for reaching both transport links to the airport( 10 minute walk to railway station and bus 210) and accessing the old town and Christmas Market(10 minute walk.) I particularly liked the small size of the building over 3 floors and its quiet, safe location whilst having restaurants, convenience stores and pharmacy nearby. The hotel staff were all pleasant and welcoming, extremely helpful and the availability of a room to leave luggage on checkout was much appreciated. Our twin bedded room was spotlessly clean and with the exception of a kettle( brought my own) had everything required.I was particularly impressed with the large corner shower which I found most effective. I would definitely stay here again in future and can highly recommend it as being great value for a stay in Gdansk.
Really nice hotel in a great location. I contacted the hotel with a request for birthday decorations and Aleksandra organised a cake from a local bakery which was delicious and just what I was looking for. The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable.
