My family and I were looking for a comfortable and accessible place to stay, so we chose this hotel. Initially, we were excited because the hotel seemed promising. It was centrally located, had clean rooms, and was wheelchair-friendly. However, upon entering our room, we were shocked to find that it lacked an active air conditioning unit, as described in the booking details. The room was incredibly hot, making it difficult for us to sleep. I have a disability and a sensitive health condition, so I was forced to endure this uncomfortable experience. To compensate the grueling heat, the stuff provided us with a small fan (as if they expected it), the size of a medium-sized hand. I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel during the summer. It’s expensive and not worth the cost if you prioritize a comfortable stay.

This is a nice hotel close to Potsdamer Platz which means it is easy to get to from the airport. The breakfast was great as was the service. The room was fine and it was good that it had a fridge, a safe and an iron. The only major drawback was a lack of air con and it meant that I could not sleep properly as the room was just too warm even when keeping the window open during the night. The hotel does not have a restaurant only a bar.

As always the hotel was great the staff were fantastic and helpful as usual. This was my second visit to Berlin in 3 years i can't rate the hotel high enough a superb week again at the Scandic Potsdamer platz. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin my brother, nephew and myself will certainly go back. The only little niggle was that they didn't have chairs outside the front of the hotel other than that fantasic hotel and staff.
