Pros. 1. Location. View of the bay and a million-dollar city. Carrefour, exchange office, restaurants, nice parks, bus stops in both directions – all within walking distance. Airport - 20 min by taxi for 25 euros from AP and 1000 lira to the airport; TerraCity Mall - 10 min and 200 lira by taxi; Old Town - 10 min and 250 lira by taxi. I haven't used the bus. 2. Breakfast. There was only caviar and champagne. Everything else was: very tasty, a lot, diverse, without queues and pushing. Almost from 06:00 to 10:00. Beautiful view, lots of space. 3. Very few children, no fun at all - "on the last without change" and "Tagila." The main publication is decent, solid, young, beautiful, slender, and healthy - pleasant to look at. In the evenings, the hotel – the center of attraction for all the Antalya golden youth – has a parking lot full of Lamborghinis, Porsches, and Mercedes. 4. The hotel itself is new, everything works, everything is clean, neat, on time, 8 elevators, the territory is clean, green, well-maintained, 7 pools, a huge fitness center, expensive but good SPA, sauna, hammam, restaurants, bars, a huge parking lot. 5. Silence. No animation. In the evening - classic live jazz in an open-air restaurant. I only have it at 05:00, and even then it's far away - it's hard to hear. You can't hear the neighbors, although the hotel occupancy is almost 100%. 6. Number. Clean, everything is there: from a huge television (2 Russian channels) to shaving machines, from an iron with a ironing board to floor scales. Changing underwear and towels - every day. I changed slippers 4 times in 10 days. High-quality textiles, soap, shampoo - premium brand, not the branded ones usually in hotels. Perfect ergonomics: everything is in its place and everything works, including the absolutely amazing air conditioner. 1.5 liters of bottled water in glass containers per day, tea, coffee (coffee machine), paid minibar (full of absolutely everything). 7. Staff Kind, thoughtful, unobtrusive, without familiarity. Good cleaning. Smiles, greetings, farewells, help - everything is flawless. 8. Beach. Hotel on the rock. The elevator goes down to the concrete pier, there are soft mesh loungers, umbrellas, towels (as many and as often as you want), 2 bars, toilets, changing rooms, showers, security, lifeguards, 2 stairs into the water – immediately deep. Diving school. No water activities or music. Perfect. 9. No bracelets on the wrist, just like at the Ritz Carlton. Disadvantages. I really wanted to find fault, I really wanted to. Therefore: petty quibbles 1. The number is too small, especially inconvenient in a combined bathroom. We are both quite slim, it will be tight for body positive. 2. All drinks from juice to coffee must be ordered from the waiters at breakfast; they bring them. Inconvenient. Put in coolers and coffee machines – it will be better and easier for everyone. 3. Security deposit They took 400 euros in cash upon arrival. They gave me a negative SPA upon departure. This corrupt practice was widespread in the Emirates in the 90s. She has been gone for a long time now. Refuse, don't be ashamed. A solid hotel, a distinguished crowd. 4. Only 2 Russian channels, although about 40% of the guests are Russian. 5. Three times in 10 days I had to ask at the reception for bottled water and tea/coffee refills in the room: some glitch in the minibar replenishment service.
Really disappointed with our stay at Akra. The hotel itself is beautiful and the facilities are nice, but unfortunately our experience was seriously affected by an extremely loud party held at the hotel. The music and bass were so loud that we could clearly hear and even feel them inside our room. We had an early flight the next morning and just wanted to get some sleep, but that was basically impossible until midnight. We called the front desk and were told that the party would finish at 12:00 a.m. Their solution was simply for us to wait until then. Although the music did stop at midnight, **the noise did not**. The guests at the party continued shouting and singing loudly together, and we could still clearly hear them from our room. So even after the music ended, it was still very difficult to sleep. The most unacceptable part was that nobody informed us about this event when we checked in. If the hotel is going to host a party this loud until midnight — with the noise continuing even afterwards — guests should at least be informed in advance or be given rooms away from the event area. We were given no warning and no choice. I completely understand that hotels host weddings, parties, and private events. However, paying hotel guests should not have to sacrifice their sleep because of them, especially at a hotel that presents itself as a five-star property. The hotel itself is beautiful, but this situation was very poorly managed. A five-star hotel should not make its guests choose between tolerating hours of noise and waiting until late at night to sleep. After this experience, I would seriously reconsider staying at Akra again.
I really liked your hotel in every aspect: the staff, the delicious food, the cleanliness is excellent (it's constantly cleaned), and the buffet is perfect in every way. There's just one problem: they left a cabinet called a "mini-bar" and anything you take from it costs extra. Even water costs extra. And on top of that, my room is my privacy. We'll vacate the room in the morning, and then in the evening, while we're at the beach, the staff comes to check the mini-bar. And it's a men's room, my underwear and everything is out in the open. Do you think they're checking it to see what was taken and then deduct money when we close the bill? Instead, they should have asked us to wait a bit after we vacated the room and then checked it. Also, even drinking water is charged for at the hotel. I'm going to pay 20,000 for the room, but they don't charge for the water. Does that make sense to you? I'm asking. On the other hand, your hotel is excellent.
