We loved this hotel. It is a short Uber ride to the walled city. The location for us was ideal. Beautiful waterfront with sandy beach! There is a sister hotel right up the road that has a full spa and pool which we enjoyed. Full filling breakfast and a nice waterfront restaurant for al fresco dining. Staff was very helpful and service oriented. Only recommendation is the bed was only average in comfort The addition of a memory foam or other topper would have helped a lot. I would stay here again - for the price is is an awesome value!

We had a 4 night stay at the Hotel Splendid to celebrate my partners 50th birthday . After reading some reviews of the hotel we were a little apprehensive . We needn’t have been ! Our welcome was warm and friendly , our room and bathroom modern , spacious and spotlessly clean and the view is spectacular. Breakfast was lovely - a large selection of breads , pastries , meats , cheeses , fruits and yoghurts with hot food also available. Every member of staff we met ( reception, breakfast dining, beach bar , restaurant and the excellent cleaning team )were friendly and helpful. Leave the hotel and go down the steps and there is the most beautiful pebbled small beach which is idyllic . We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Splendid and will definitely return !

Hotel room clean. Bathroom grout mouldy. Dining outside nice food but inside smorgasboard, don't do! Overcooked meat. Need a steak knife to cut the dried out chicken & pork! Very poor.
