Hotel looked impressive but that's about it. This is constructive critique not a moan. The staff were brilliant. The food was never hot but the selection was very good and plentiful, and the staff were on top of everything. The wine was very reasonable and the local beer was too, cups for coffee and tea were rather small but you could refill as often as you wanted to. I was not impressed with some people coming for dinner wearing swimming attire and nothing was said. The biggest thing to me missing throughout was ,' tea spoons ' you had to use silly flimsy plastic sticks which were useless. Plastic ' glasses throughout the hotel in the bars and reception with the exception of the dining rooms. In the rooms you had a kettle, two tea bags, two coffee sachets and two sugar sachets with two silly flimsy plastic sticks ( tea spoons please ) no milk so we had to buy some from the local store. The worst thing for us but not necessarily anyone else was the very loud thumping music from the hotel next door which was awful if you wanted to retire a little early, it did stop at 2300 though. Finally the Al a carte restaurant was a joke, one free night was enough. Allin all I would rate this a 3* at best .
