Stayed here for a week. Comfortable rooms, good beds, good TV options. Reception located at street level with the dining room, restaurant and bedrooms located below with direct access onto the beach level below. Staff very courteous and friendly. Paid a good price for the 7 nights, would have been disappointed to have paid more. Dined for dinner on our late arrival, very average. Didn't go back as dined outside rest of holiday. Breakfast, a great selection on offer. Having said that, the quality of the food was average, catering to the numbers. The freshly cooked eggs were good, sausages poor, bacon a bit hit and miss. Beans, couldn't go wrong. Pool area was small for the size of the hotel but was never over busy. Nice Balinese beds for hire which we did most days, ensuring sun and shade when needed. Music at times was a bit too loud for the space. Overall, would return if push came to shove but on a room only basis. The food didn't do it for us.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Fenix Torremolinos and had a really enjoyable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was excellent, with a lovely balcony and a great view. The room was cleaned regularly and kept to a very high standard throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, with a great choice of food and plenty of options to suit different tastes. The swimming pool area was also very good and a lovely place to relax. The location is excellent, being close to both the town centre and the beach, making it very easy to get around and enjoy everything Torremolinos has to offer. A special mention must go to Manuel at reception. He was exceptionally helpful, friendly and welcoming, and nothing seemed too much trouble for him. His excellent customer service really added to our stay and is a credit to the hotel. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at the Hotel Fenix and would happily return. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located hotel with great facilities, friendly staff and excellent service.

Mixed view of this Hotel. It’s touted as 4 stars. However, 3.5 stars at best. It is definitely worn out in places, steps, chips, needs a revamp in places. The pool is cramped there too many sunbeds for the amount of space but that’s because it has several rooms to accommodate and several people. Breakfast was great! unfortunately evening meal wasn’t so fantastic, average food in the evening. Food was quite tasty and managed to eat something though, just not 4 star quality. Gym was small and smelt of rising damp, put me off to be fair for training in there. Staff are friendly. On arrival, I was given a voucher for a drink at the bar, but you can only use it Monday or Friday & only between 6-7pm. Ridiculous gesture and don’t bother with a Ridiculous gesture and don’t bother with a silly little voucher for the drinks at those times. My first room was below the restaurant and it was so noisy. I complained and I was moved thankfully to a better room. However all in all I wouldn’t return.

Just got back after a chilled out 10 days in the Fenix Hotel. Perfectly located (3 minutes to the beach from the lowest floor of the hotel & 3 minutes to the resort centre from the reception floor). 3 lifts to choose from. Food very good, top shelf drinks at competitive prices, staff great & very friendly. I would like to specifically mention ANDREW, who looked after us at meal times & the many hours we sat at the bar. Top person. A lick of paint here & there, a few more sun beds, & more storage space in the rooms, would improve the hotel further. A bit more entertainment would also be good & might do more to fill the lovely lounge area. All in all a good choice for a chilled, adults only hotel, right in the centre of Torremolinos.

I had a lovely first time solo break here from 5th to 8th August. I loved how chilled it was around the pool and the fact that a glass of cava from the pool bar was less than £4 was a bonus! I always managed to get a sunbed even when I went later in the day, the pool was warm (maybe it was even heated!) but nice to relax in. Breakfast was lovely - proper bacon 👍 and the fresh orange juice machine was great! I was half board so had dinner there, I maybe wouldn’t next time as I’m a fussy eater but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the food! The staff were amazing and helpful, shout out to Jesus who always seemed to be around (thanks for my last glass of rose wine on the day I was leaving!) I was in room 310 which had a massive bed and a balcony that overlooked the pool area, the air on was great and the bathroom was lovely. My only suggestion would be to maybe have entertainment on occasionally in the bar in the evening to encourage more people to stay in and drink there - all in all I had a wonderful little break and will definitely be back.
