We spent 6 nights at Meliá Alicante, we didn't know it and it has been a very pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located, next to the sea and in the center, you cross the promenade and in five minutes you are in the historic center, full of restaurants and shops. The room was very spacious, well-equipped, and with beautiful views of Postiguet beach. The breakfast was wonderful, nothing was missing. And regarding the staff, I cannot highlight anyone in particular because they are all very professional and charming. Thanks to all of them and to Meliá for offering us so much comfort and knowing how to make us enjoy a few days of vacation a lot. We know quite a few Meliá hotels that we like a lot, but I think the one in Alicante is going to be one of our favorites, we will return.

Beautiful hotel in great location with very comfortable rooms and wonderful staff. But… we upgraded to the Level and was really disappointed with the overcrowded and extensively shaded pool area. The sunbeds are literally crammed together so there is no space between them and the whole area apart from a little corner of the pool is in total shade by lunchtime. The comfort, quality of the drinks, customer service by the lovely staff and snacks at the Level lounge are excellent, but sadly the pool facilities mean we won’t return which is a shame as we wanted to make this a regular trip The main pool are is also mainly covered in shade,
