Great hotel for young children but not for pre teens. There were no organised activities for children aged 9 and over. Pools are excellent with a good shallow area for non swimmers. The lifeguards in attendance are alert and watchful at all times. If you wanted a bed around the main pool you had to start queuing at 8 am for when the pool opens at 9. We didn’t bother as the lagoon pool opens at 10am and there are lots of beds there, this pool is also heated. We went to the main pool late afternoon and usually found somewhere to sit. The rooms are basic (we were in the annexe) very large with excellent air con and a balcony with a drying rack. The whole hotel is spotless , the gardens well maintained and the pool areas hosed down at night. The restaurant has something for everyone with a low counter for little ones to easily choose their own food. We booked half board and found that to be fine as drinks are not expensive. There is a small shopping centre nearby with a play centre €5 with bars and and ice cream parlour. There is also a supermarket to buy beer pop and sandwiches for lunch. The kids club was well run as was the mini disco. However , the adult entertainment was not well publicised so missed most of it. The Circus night around the pool was really good a shame that there was not more outdoor entertainment in the evening All the staff are super friendly and very helpful. The hotel is at the top of a hill so nowhere really to walk in the evening especially for young children . Good market in Los Christianos which is situated next to the Arona Gran Hotel.

This hotel was absolutely brilliant. It is located directly oppsite a 24 hour shop and about a 15 minute walk from the beach in Los Christianos. The food was better than expected for an all inclusive and had rotating themed nights in the buffet (such as Indian, Chinese, Mexican, steak night etc.). The pools were always a brilliant temperature and not overcrowded even though it was the school holidays. The entertainment was the best I've seen in a hotel, there's a schedule up in reception and almost constant entertainment for children and adults throughout the day and the night. The rooms were modern and clean and the cleaning staff did an incredible job, I've never seen such thorough cleaning in a hotel before. The drinks were all branded and everything bar spirits was on a serve it yourself basis so there was never much of a queue for the bar. My only qualms with this hotel was that the balcony was a bit smaller than average and one or two members of staff were a bit miserable where the rest of the staff were incredibly happy and friendly but this didn't impact my stay at all and ive already booked to come back next year and recommended it to everyone I know. For what we recieved on this holiday I'm surprised the hotel is only classed as a 4 star and surprised it was so cheap!

Great holiday hotel have stayed couple time over years at paradise park the staff are brilliant always happy too help cant say an bad word about any of the staff there also great location close to bars and restaurants and only 10 mins walk too beach or sea front

Lovely hotel, attentive staff who can’t do enough for you. Cleaned daily. Food is lovely, although more range in the children’s section would be good. Very hot during our stay, which is lovely. However, with no air conditioning in the restaurant and big families placed near the windows, it can get really hot and uncomfortable after a day in the sun! I would definitely come back.
