My family of four have just returned from a Fantastic weeks holiday at the Delphine Be Grand. The hotel is massive and located at the start of the shopping strip and only took a 20 mins private transfer from the airport. We've stayed at multiple hotels in Lara beach and this is definitely one of the best. The standard is very high with lots of staff constantly cleaning and serving. We stayed in a 2 bed family room which was to an excellent std, spacious, cleaned & mini fridge restocked every day (including a hairdryer, tea & coffee with a kettle). The All Inclusive package covers lots of branded bottles, spirits & cocktails and round the pools are delivered by skater waiters due to the size of the facility. The main restaurant has lots of choice and to a high standard. There are many A-La-Cart restaurants which are included (best one was the Mexican 👌) apart from two (between £50-£40 each 😳). There was always activities & entertainment on. During the day around the pools and evening at the Amphitheatre (shows), Main Event Area and live music at the beach bar. All to a very high standard. There are lots of facilities, a massive high spec gym, arcade, 5 outdoor pools (one small heated), indoor pool, tennis courts (deposit for the rackets at reception), table tennis and a new paddle court (55 euros an hour to rent). The Spar treatment was brilliant and you can then use the VIP saunas (you don't get told this). Also haggle the price with the salesman, opening prices are massively inflated !! Secret gem - Small coffee shop on the right down takeaway allay. Makes the best Coffee on site 👌. Areas it could improve: Irish Sports Bar - it's not a bar, but feels like a closed empty restaurant room with lots of turned off TV's. Apart from the small outdoor heated kids pool the rest were freezing 🥶, it was a shame that most of the pool activities didn't go ahead (due to temperature of the pools). It would be good to have one cider option behind the bar. Paddle court - 55 euro rental charge 😳 On the whole this is an excellent 5* hotel and we would definitely return.
