I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere!! This has been one of the most disappointing holiday experiences I’ve ever had. When we arrived, things went downhill. On our first night, we were placed in a terrible room with dirty bed sheets, which was an awful start to the holiday. Even after moving rooms, standards didn’t improve. The cleaners actually reused one of our bed sheets and put it on the other bed instead of replacing it with a clean one, which is completely unhygienic and unacceptable. The bathroom was infested with silverfish and cockroaches, making it unpleasant and uncomfortable to use. To make matters worse, there was no proper lock on the patio door, which left us feeling unsafe throughout our stay. The pool rules were ridiculous. Despite the extreme heat, guests were not allowed to use parasols for shade, while staff were allowed to. Whilst posing as a family place, there were also no floats or ball games permitted in the pool, making it feel far less enjoyable than expected. The hotel advertised entertainment, but there was none during our stay. The bar wasn’t even open, leaving very limited facilities available. The biggest issue by far was the constant drilling. Every single day from 9:00am until around 3:00pm there was extremely loud drilling taking place. It could be heard everywhere, including around the pool, and it was impossible to escape. The noise caused excruciating headaches and completely ruined any chance of relaxing. We complained both to our holiday representative and the hotel reception, but were simply told they couldn’t move us to another room. Instead of trying to help, the reception staff started speaking Spanish to each other and walked away, which felt incredibly rude and dismissive. To top it all off, the rooms and pool look nothing like the advertised photos. The hotel is misleading in its advertising, and the reality is far below expectations. Overall, this hotel was dirty, poorly maintained, unwelcoming, and completely failed to provide the relaxing holiday we had paid for. Between the unhygienic rooms, insects, excessive construction noise, poor customer service, and misleading photos, I would not recommend staying here.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR A RELAXING HOLIDAY. The hotel is currently under renovation, that they do not inform you about. The noise is unbearable outside and in the rooms. In the rooms you can feel it drilling through and the walls vibrating. I have complained and they are not bothered, stating this needs to take place 9am - 3pm. I cannot rest in my room because of the drilling. Honestly, if you have booked this hotel cancel now as your holiday will be ruined. In addition, there is cockroaches and silver fish running around the bathroom and rooms at night. We have to place towels in all the cracks and doors.

Loved our stay at Coral Teide Mar. Staff were so lovely and always available for anything needed. The room was very clean on arrival and cleaners came regularly. The pool area was cleaned daily. Perfect place for some relaxtion. There was work being done in hotel during stay, however the noise did not affect us at all, as was happening during the day. The area the hotel is in is quiet enough, however lots of lovely restaurants nearby and plenty to see and do during the day. Taxis are nearly always available outside of hotel and if not the staff were able to get this sorted.
