We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 6 and 2) during the UK summer holidays, so I think it’s important to mention that this was an extremely busy period. I’ll try to give a balanced review, as there were definitely some positives, but also quite a few negatives. The positives: The children’s pools are fantastic. There really is something for every age, including a covered pool which was great on particularly hot days. The slides and pools were definitely the highlight of the holiday for our children. The evening entertainment was also really good. We particularly enjoyed the cabaret and extreme shows. The entertainment area itself is large, but because the hotel was so busy, lots of people were creating their own seating arrangements, which was frustrating as views were often blocked. The staff were also very friendly and always seemed happy to help where they could, which we really appreciated. The negatives: This was probably the busiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We actually dreaded going to the main restaurant because it was completely chaotic, with people arguing over tables and pushing and shoving in queues. It was extremely loud and just didn’t feel like a relaxing dining experience at all. The food was also disappointing. Very repetitive and, in our opinion, quite substandard. Having stayed in many 5-star hotels over the years, we’re used to different themed dinner nights and more variety, but here we seemed to get largely the same food most nights. The hairdressers were another disappointment. We had our daughter’s hair braided and it was falling out within an hour. We went back and they corrected it, but by the following day it had completely fallen out again. The older gentleman who manages the salon made a lot of promises and talked about having very high standards, but unfortunately our experience didn’t reflect that at all. There are also some very expensive extras. €10 just to inflate a pool float seems excessive. There’s also a funfair and arcade on site which operate on a credit system, and the pricing starts at around €40. Overall, we felt there were a lot of opportunities to charge extra, which gave the hotel a rather greedy feel. We also weren’t impressed with the cleanliness in the spa. We used the showers on our final day and the shower cubicles had an unpleasant, unsanitary smell. When we asked for a towel in the spa, we were told we had to go back outside to the pool area to get one from the towel desk, which seemed very strange for a 5-star hotel. Overall: The pools and slides are what made the holiday enjoyable for our children, and the friendly staff and evening entertainment were definite positives. However, everything else was fairly mediocre in our opinion. We’ve travelled to Turkey every year for a number of years and always stay in 5-star all-inclusive hotels, and unfortunately this was the worst one we’ve stayed at. I would personally rate this as a 4-star hotel rather than a 5-star. If you’re travelling with young children and your main priority is pools, slides and entertainment, you may have a great time. Just be prepared for it to be extremely busy during the UK summer holidays and don’t expect the level of food, dining experience or overall service that you would normally associate with a 5-star resort.
Lovely hotel. Second time here. The only difference so far is that the slush station is no longer here which my daughters were looking forward to. Food and entertainment 10/10
Lovely hotel, beautiful decor and great layout. Plenty of room and various bars to choose from so it never feels too crowded. Lounge areas for a drink at anytime of day. We particularly liked the Lobby bar. Staff are attentive and friendly. Swimming pools are great plenty of choice and never crowded.
Lovely clean hotel, lots to do with many different areas for kids pools and slides.
Very nice Hotel and staff, amazing pool and food. Not overly busy in the height of the season. Very well organised and the family loved it 100%
