Very disappointing stay The all-inclusive food was extremely poor and not what we expected. The extra charge for air conditioning was also a hidden cost that was not made clear when booking. The nights were very loud, making it almost impossible to get any sleep. To make matters worse, there were rats running around the hotel, which was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. There are no shops nearby, leaving you with only the overpriced hotel shop. The food was so unpleasant that it was difficult to eat, and having the chef constantly watching guests while they ate made the whole experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, a very disappointing holiday and definitely not somewhere I would recommend
This was one of the most disappointing holidays we’ve ever had and definitely not worth the nearly £2,000 we paid for an all-inclusive stay. To start with, we were shocked to discover that air conditioning came at an extra cost, despite there being absolutely no mention of this anywhere when booking online. Charging guests extra for such a basic necessity is completely unacceptable. If you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, avoid this place. We managed one peaceful night’s sleep, but for the rest of the holiday we were repeatedly woken up by loud, drunk and obnoxious teenagers shouting and making noise late into the night. There seemed to be no effort from the hotel to control the disruption or ensure guests could actually sleep. The rooms were no better. Although the back doors had mosquito screens, we still found spiders and crickets inside the room on most nights. Having insects crawling around your room every evening is hardly what you’d expect after paying so much money. The food was by far the worst part of the experience. We paid almost £2,000 for an all-inclusive package and ended up eating out almost every single night because the food was absolutely appalling. The choice was pathetic – plain spaghetti, vile boiled chicken and endless bowls of salad. The quality, variety and standard of the food were embarrassing for an all-inclusive resort. Overall, this hotel was a complete waste of money. Hidden charges, sleepless nights, insects in the room and dreadful food completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable holiday. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Upon arrival you have to check in online, which was a bit of a hassle and took me a good 10-15 minutes filling the online form! Don’t forget the room tax! Charged at 5 euros per night per room. This added an extra 70 euros onto our holiday and they prefer it in cash! The rooms were beautifully clean, and cleaned daily if requested with clean towels. We were lucky to have an amazing view of the back of the hotel which overlooked the pool. Only negative was the pillows, I found mine a bit too hard. No locks on the toilets, either inside the rooms or outside, which we found weird at first but by the second day we were used to it, it seemed that everyone understood that if the door was shut it was in use. The pools were very clean, there’s a quiet pool and then the ‘fun’ pool. Both have sun-beds but can be quite difficult to get one as people do tend to save them all day! Could possibly do with some more. The food was delicious, a good variety each day, myself and my family were very happy with the food we had, minus my youngest son who is very fussy! The cleanliness in the outside area was very good, staff always on top of it. Plenty of AI drinks to choose from, soft drinks, wine, local beer and local spirits which both myself and husband really enjoyed. Cocktail hour was just the same juice mix which they added vodka to upon ordering. The juice mix varied daily but was always very tasty. There was a small games area, which included pool charged at 2 euros each game, ping pong which was 50 cents to purchase the ball then you could play as much as you like, you just borrow the paddles from the bar and table hockey which we didn’t use so unsure of the charge. There was a karaoke night and a Greek night whilst we were there. The karaoke wasn’t great but that’s just our opinion. The Greek night was amazing, lots of Greek dancing which they do invite you up for to teach the dances so be prepared. The hotel is located away from the main road which was amazing for us living on a busy road, it was very peaceful. The bus stop was about 8-10 minutes walk which we used to go into Rhodes town, that was a good hours ride. We took advantage of the daily free mini bus to the local beach. Pick up outside the hotel at 10 then collection at 1. It was busy the morning we went so they did 2 trips. 3 hours was a perfect amount of time at the beach on a hot day in August! We did walk to the local shops which took us about 20 minutes, there you could buy gifts, snacks, drinks etc we did that a couple of times just to get out for a change.
We could not fault the cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel is situated in the middle of farmlands so you really need a car to get around. There is a bus service but you need to walk about 20-30 mins to the bus stop, otherwise you need to hire a taxi. It cost us 70 Euros return to go into the old town. Well worth a visit. The breakfast was very good. The lunch and evening meal need some work on. Its not really all inclusive as they only let you have Spirits from 4.30 onwards which are all local and not that great. You can have wine and beer all day and soft drinks until 10.30 which is where the All Inclusive stops. Unless you are in a Superior room you will need to pay for Air Con which works out to roughly 7 Euros a day. They have no room available for evening flights for you to wash and change in. They will offer you a room for 35 Euros until 4 pm but only if there are any free. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had no trouble with getting sunbeds, there are 2 pools and quieter one if you just looking to relax in. Overall, if you are just wanting to 'Fly and Flop' I would recommend this hotel.
