As we have been doing for years, our destination is Puerto de la Cruz. This year we have returned to the Orotawa be live experience hotel. We like this hotel a lot; it is a fantastic option to enjoy a vacation. A quite acceptable price-quality ratio. Comfortable hotel. There are wonderful people in the restaurant. As well as its varied buffet. The breakfasts, lunches and dinners, with cooks like (Esteban, a great professional) the rest are also very good, I omit names because I don't know them. A lot to choose from and without repeating. Great variety, both of dairy products, salads, meats, fish, and let's not talk about the desserts....what a temptation. The girls and I name them, although I will leave some out: Dacil Cabrera, Atteneri, Itaisa, Olivia, Isabel, Yolanda, etc... are charming, and great professionals always attentive to what you need. Also Luci, a very nice entertainer. But as almost always there has to be a bad apple, and in the pool area and lounge bar where the shows take place, Cristian has disappointed us and it hasn't been on one occasion but on 3. Otherwise the rest, for example Alan, are very kind. As I say, the stay so far is very good, we still have another 8 days ahead of us. I would improve the cleaning, but I think it is not the fault of the girls who are very nice and efficient but due to a lack of staff. This regarding the hotel. Otherwise places to visit, Loro Park, Martianez pools, the pier, have a beer in the Plaza del Charco. Walk along the entire San Telmo promenade. Take photos at the Punta del Viento, as well as at the pier and the breakwater, reach Playa Jardín, where you can visit the San Felipe castle etc... Leaving the Puerto, Mount Teide, Orotava, Garachico, Icod de los Vinos, Los Realejos etc. Until next time.
