Just got home from staying in this hotel for the last 9 days. We wanted a cheap holiday so knew with a 3 star hotel what we were going to get. The hotel is in a good location, staff are so friendly and approachable, big shout out to Tamara! She was lovely. Great entertainment every night. The room was a nice size on the 6th floor being close to the lifts. How ever there are some concerns; the rooms are very outdated and I think with a little modernisation it would look much better, the bed and pillows are so comfy which is a nice surprise for me. The walls are unfortunately thin but that’s to do with the building. We had a room facing the bus station and I would avoid that at all costs the amount of times I could hear a bus reversing was insane. Finally the food….breakfast was lovely with some good choices however the evening meals are not the same they need to be changed every so often for variety. A lot of the time i could only have salad as there was hardly any meat available and i did not want chips. Overall this is good place to stay and i would stay again but only for bed and breakfast.

The food was terrible, little variety and poor quality. Whatever was left over from one meal, they would fix it up and serve it to you for dinner. Very scarce buffet and not replenished. Undercooked food, both meat and stews. I had to go out for dinner and breakfast several times because they would even kick you out before closing time. Terrible. The best part was the service from the reception staff.
