Just back from a 4 day stay and after reading the reviews after I booked . I was slightly nervous
But I must say the process was simple after I emailed them the day before I arrived and they was top class with all the information I needed
The apartment was much better than I expected and the location was perfect
I would definitely stay here again

Bad bad bad someone came in my room and stole my medication I’m a disabled person who has been left with no medication because someone stole it plus £40 euros on 2 separate times but I’m more pissed about my medication because I’ve been left ill and worried about having no medication and what the effect will have on the rest of my holiday

Just came back from this Apartment stayed there for 10 nights. At first when I read the Reviews I really thought what have I done?. But all I can say about this place. it was a nice place. And Clean and I will be booking there again soon 💯🏴👍

From the moment we arrived, our experience at Apartamentos Guinea, Playa del Inglés, Gran Canaria was unpleasant. After long hours of travel and very little sleep, we were dropped off by the coach near the building, only to find ourselves locked outside. The entire property is surrounded by gates, and although we rang the bell several times, no one answered.
My partner, who booked the trip, had a problem with his phone reception, so he couldn’t contact our holiday organiser to find out how to get access to the building. We waited outside for quite a while until another guest happened to come out and kindly let us in. Once inside, we discovered the reception was closed — which explained why no one answered the gate. We eventually found a phone number and managed to get a code for key collection, but we were told to check in at a completely different location.
Our assigned room was disappointing — it looked nothing like the photos, with no nice view as shown online. Since the hotel appeared nearly empty (many rooms clearly unoccupied), we asked if we could change rooms. The man at reception was friendly and said they would see what they could do, as some rooms weren’t prepared yet. He promised someone would contact us the next day, but of course, no one ever did.
When we entered the apartment, the bedding was covered with hair and even had small blood-like stains. The floor was dirty, so I ended up sweeping and mopping it myself. From the very first night, we noticed small insects in the bathroom. After looking them up, we realised they were silverfish — and there were many of them.
Unfortunately, things only got worse. Two days later, we saw large cockroaches coming out of the bath drain and many small ones crawling in the kitchen behind the counters. Once we moved the fridge, we found old food underneath it — the same under the beds and sofa. The kitchen corners were full of food leftovers, and there was even a chunk of hardened cheese stuck to the counter near the sink, which looked like it had been there for a long time.
During our 8-night stay, no one came to clean the apartment even once (aside from one visit to bring new towels). I had to sweep and mop every day myself, trying to prevent the cockroaches from spreading or ending up in our luggage.
It’s a real shame, because Playa del Inglés is such a beautiful part of Gran Canaria, and the holiday could have been wonderful if the accommodation wasn’t such a nightmare. I couldn’t wait to go home — just to finally sleep without worrying about bugs crawling around.
Would not recommend staying there.
