Arrived Christmas day and checked in with ease. We were given a large bottle of water, a bottle of red wine and cava. The apartments are spacious and well equipped although we ate out and only used basic equipment for toast and coffees etc. The balcony is what makes the place with beautiful sea views. The road outside can be very noisy so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The apartments location is fabulous close to beach, bars and restaurants. The staff we very helpful booking us taxis from the apartment and offered us a lower floor room as my elderly dad was travelling with us. The apartments have no lift.

Rooms are a little "tired" but clean and serviceable, with all the equipment for self catering. Pool is great and restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Reception staff always happy to help out with any queries.

Firstly I’ll start with the only good thing about the accommodation. The sea view. The hotel is priced cheap but I at least expect it to be fit for purpose. No bar no entertainment no lifts. Plug sockets hanging/coming out of the walls. Waking up and believing the world was ending outside due to the amount of noise. Roads and building work. Glass shattering to drilling. A particular night staff member needs training in customer service very rude. A friend was unable to get into the room due to it being a double lock door. The staff member called her a liar and told her she wasted his time. This was probably due to him not wanting to walk up the flights of stairs to our 3rd floor apartment like us! We complained about this upon arriving but was told we was unable to move rooms for another 2 days. So we had to lug our cases up the flights of stairs due to there being no lifts. Showers are terrible about as much pressure as a camel spitting in them. The hotel was mostly populated by unfriendly people. It would Of been more fun to visit the graveyard. Only provided us with 1 main gate key and 2 room keys even though there was 4 of us in the room. Cleaners did the basics on the days they actually came. They provide absolutely no option of food apart from a vending machine. Rooms are very very outdated curtains are tatty and old. Hardly even shut right. Bathroom door only shut properly if it was locked from the inside so banged most of the night. I would of rather bunked with the stray cats up the road. Avoid.

this is the best place i have stayed in, so far i have been there for the past 2 years and each time it gets better. local to everything you needs, supermarket, fashgion and lots of resteraunts. yes its quiet there but thats what i like but there is entertainment within 5 min walk. the staff here are wonderful from management to cleaners its not fancy to look at but the way you are made to feel its wonderful. every evening they charged my wheelchair for me in the reception area and any problems are solved straight away. so all in all there's only 1 thing left to say and its see you next year montemar cant wait
