Just back from a 10 day stay (4 Adults / 1 Child (18 months) First the Good Hotel and Grounds - very clean (only sticking point - could be a bigger Kids play area outside) Staff - Friendly and helpful - 10/10 Room - We stayed in a Family Room... Modern and very clean - (No Coffee sachets though.. Just Tea - But we were All Incl) Pools - Fantastic and the little Water Park was an added bonus The Average Food - Most days were good.... So I could easily add this to the Good section.. Just a bit repetative... Lots of Cheese - no biscuits / crackers which was strange The Starter selection was very limited - unless you wanted Salad or Melon. Burgers and Hot Dogs cooked from time to time - no soft rolls Could do with adding a few themed nights maybe... Over-all.. We didn't go hungry... And the food was cooked well... Just a mish mash of different things... The Bad Evening Entertainment... Oh dear! Dinner starts at 7... Kiddie Disco at 8, so if you are a big family with a few children, you might struggle to get there on time.. And it only lasts for about 45 mins. Then a strange gap of about 45 mins, where nothing happens... The Bar doesn't open til 8.30pm, so if you want a drink, you need to get one elsewhere on the proprty... Why have a venue open without a Bar for almost 2 hours! Then the main event... A dance group, jugglers, Singing / Mime act (who loked like they have just got together and decided to give it a go!) - The list goes on... This isn't entertainent (especially for anyone over the age of 14) No live singers, nothing for adults.... I get that it is a Hotel geared for Kids / Families, but they also cater for Adults too (and older couples) - there is nothing for them.. Even the Lobby bar is like a Library - no background music... OK if you want peace and quiet I guess... Outside the Hotel.. A really nice beach with a couple of good bars (with music) about 10 mins away. A few shops too and a large Supermarket.. The main part of Lloret is a 20 mins walk... A lovely area... But again, no live music in the Bars - so Tribute Acts, Drag Shows, Bands, Live Singers are missing... Which is a shame. Lots of shops, bars, places to eat etc Overall... Will I be back... No!

We had a really lovely stay at Costa Encantada and our son absolutely loved it. The biggest highlight for us was definitely the room. It was renovated, very spacious and honestly one of the best family rooms we've stayed in so far. We were really impressed with the space and how comfortable it was. The hotel itself has great facilities, lovely pools and everything was very clean and well maintained. I also used the spa and absolutely loved it, the facilities were excellent, modern and beautifully renovated. The entertainment was another highlight. There was plenty going on and we had a lot of fun as a family. Our son really enjoyed himself too. The hotel is only a short walk from the beach and we found the walk there very easy, even with a young child. The only areas that could have been better were the restaurant and service. We felt the restaurant could have had a bit more variety, especially over several days, and unfortunately not every member of staff we came across was particularly friendly or welcoming. Overall, though, we had a great family holiday. The facilities are excellent, our son had a fantastic time and the room in particular exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again.

Great 10 nights spent here. We loved every minute. Food was great and as a vegetarian ... there was plenty of freshly cooked fish every night for me. My 8 and 6 year old grandchildren loved the slides and were able to potter into the snack bar and arcade on their own. Not much immediately outside but that didn't bother us. The staff were lovely and the hotel itself was kept spotlessly clean. Have to mention Gale at reception... who went out of her way to get us a large taxi at the last minute on the day we were leaving .. as others have said .. she's a lovely lady. We will be booking to return next year.
