This is a lovely hotel nestled in one of the back streets, a five minute walk from the main strip in Lloret de Mar. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from Wendy on reception and Mauel who worked at the bar area was always friendly and helpful too. The room was clean with four plump pillows on the bed so we didn't to ask for extras and a voucher for a free drink on arrival. There is a small fridge in the room. There is a small balcony so that you could sit outside if you preferred or be able to dry your swimming costumes and towels. The pool was cool and refresing to use in the extreme heat of August. There were sunbeds available in the shade or the sun. While we were there people did put their towels out to grab a sun lounger but there are chairs and tables to sit at or couches to sit on. The hotel also provides pool towels on request. Breakfast was a buffet with options for cereals, cooked breakfast, pastries or cheese and cold meats. There was also the option for having a fried egg or omelette cooked if you prefer. There is also the option for an evening meal but we had already chosen to eat out in the evenings. I enjoyed a session of yoga during our stay. There was entertainment in the evenings whcih was a little loud on the Saturday evening. We had a very lovely time staying at the hotel. On departure day, we were able to enjoy the pool after checking out with the option to have a shower with fresh towels. Being British, I would have liked the option of a kettle in the room to be able to make a cup of tea. Overall a very lovely hotel for a lovely relaxing holiday.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL, and do not pay before you've seen your room! Unfortunately, my experience at Augusta Club Hotel was very disappointing. After checking in, I went back to reception because the room I had been allocated looked very different from the accommodation I had seen advertised online. It was dark, dingy and much smaller than expected. I asked to move rooms and was told the hotel was full that night but that I could move the following morning and speak to a manager. I also asked for a discount for the night I was having to stay in the room, but was told this needed to be authorised by a manager. The following morning, I returned to reception and was then told that no manager was available and that moving rooms wouldn't make much difference because apparently all the rooms were the same, other than the view. Later that day, the hotel called while I was out to say that I could view another room. I asked to see it when I returned but was told it had to be immediately or I would lose the opportunity to move. That wasn't possible as I was away from the hotel, so I reluctantly stayed in the original room and again asked about a discount. I was told to speak to a manager when I checked out. When I finally spoke to the manager at check-out, I was incredibly frustrated to be told that she could have offered me a discount if I had raised the issue earlier, but that nothing could be done because I was now leaving. I had raised the issue from the moment I arrived and had asked repeatedly for either a room move, permission to leave or a discount. I had simply followed the instructions given to me by reception each time. The room itself was disappointing, but what really let the hotel down was the way the complaint was handled. There were multiple opportunities to resolve the issue during my stay, but each time responsibility was passed on to somebody else. Then, when I finally reached the person who apparently could have helped, I was told it was too late.

Normal experience, breakfast was decent. The AC did not get as cold as i would like and the bahtroom doors dont have locks and are made out of glass.

Just had a 4 night break here, perfectly clean, reception, pool and bar area very well maintained all through the day. Rooms on the small side and could do with more storage space, but spotless. Staff were fantastic especially the bar and restaurant team, great personalities and very friendly and helpful. Location is fab, away from the hustle and bustle but 10 minute walk and you're at the beach.
