We have been there for a week as a family and the truth is that it was perfect. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The complex has a good pool, sometimes too full, but you know how it is, you are not alone and you have to share. Sufficient gym in the complex itself but you have another top-tier one included, which is outside but close by. The Marbella Restaurant they have is wonderful, they have a spectacular self-service breakfast, eggs of all kinds, bacon, sausages, etc. everything necessary hot and very good. Also pastries, simple but sufficient, jams, etc. Cold cuts, breads, coffee, milks, juices, EVERYTHING. They have some pool tables, simple but they are fine for passing the time, board games, a squash court, heated pool with jacuzzi, sauna, EVERYTHING. In addition, well-located parking included. We have been relaxed and everything was very clean, therefore, very good. As a negative note, I would highlight the lack of comfort of the beds, but in general, I would give them a 9 out of 10.

We visited Crown Resort Marbella for the sixth time this year. We are very satisfied with the 2-room apartment with space for 6 people. 2 bedrooms with extra beds in the living room. A rental car is recommended as the facility is 15-20 minutes walk from the beach and grocery stores. The kitchens are well-equipped and the bedrooms are well-appointed. We are a couple who are not pool people but we swim in the sea. On the other hand, the pool is frequently visited by families with children. For us, Calahonda and the hotel have become like a second home and we strongly recommend the place and the facility. We are of course back next year. Morgan and Pia Moverare

After returning from our August 10 day holiday, I find myself writing this review with mixed opinions The book 10 nights with On the Beach we stayed in apartment 21 down near the kids area. Our daughter was 17 so no real desire to be located back close to the kids area. The hotel itself is basic, but has everything you would need the Poole could get a little crowded during the busy times, but we always found a sunbed Breakfast is good and varied lots of choice from English fry up to fruits and pastries The apartment is spacious comfortable and has everything you would need we were in a two bedroom apartment. The master bedroom has ensuite and there was a secondary small bathroom for the other bedroom. The apartment had ironing board and iron for washing machine plenty of storage there is a maid service once a week however every four days new towels and sheets are provided due to change yourself It’s worth noting that On the Beach advertised this complex as having entertainment and the shuttle bus either of those are now in Serv-ICE the bar closes at 8 pm and the restaurant closes for snacks at 4 pm The apartments are located at the top of a very long and steep hill so you have to be good at walking. I’m first impressions and it appears that you are in the middle of nowhere. However with a little exploring you can find plenty of places to eat find live music and lovely little shops. There is a bus route at the bottom of the hill which takes you all the way to Marbella in One I would recommend going to the brown tobacconist shop and investing in a Green bus card. You can preload money onto this card and it makes the bus journeys significantly cheaper. A taxi from the neighbouring town of Mijgas it’s about 8 to €10 back to the apartments so not particularly expensive I would return to the apartment now I know the area a little bit better all in all we had a pleasant stay
