Don't go there! This hotel is 3 stars and no more. The food is very meager, the bed linen is coarse and has some unstained spots, the pillows are old, lumpy inside, the mattress is very hard. The rooms are all old, partially broken, for example, the shower holder, hold the shower in your hands. If they put us in rooms with a view of the parking lot, but lower than the photo, it's beautiful, and also very noisy. Also, everything is very old and grimy. Haven't changed the underwear in a week. Keep in mind that if you want to drink cocktails or anything other than their beer and wine, it costs an additional €12 per day, also internet in the room is €3 per day per person, the safe is also €3 per day. The steam sauna in the spa smells like rags, not eucalyptus or lemon, like in normal places. Yes, and if you are used to drinking a lot of water, then here you get 0.5 in the room for a day, you can drink the rest from the coolers, which probably don't undergo special purification, and you can only drink from a glass, you cannot take it with you in a bottle. If you are going to the beach, buy it in the nearest stores for 1€ 1.5 liters. Everything on the beach is paid, there are enough sunbeds, but the main ones are quickly taken in the sun. I was in Turkey 9 times, one of them in my youth in a 3-star, so this is the same thing, but for noticeably more money.

We vacationed at Viking Star for the second time, and everything was great again. This is a place I want to return to. The hotel is small, cozy, the atmosphere is truly like home - calm and comfortable. Staff - special thanks. All polite, friendly, always ready to help, and with humor, which creates a very warm atmosphere from day one. Animation is just super. I want to mention Vika and Roland - the guys are full of positive energy, the programs are interesting, you can see that they put their heart into their work. Something happened every day, there was nothing to be bored about. SPA - a nice bonus. I want to thank Aysul separately - she is a very sweet and attentive girl, she explained everything in detail and helped me choose procedures. The food is varied, you can always find something to your taste. We have never gone hungry. Location - very advantageous. A calm walk to the sea takes about 7-10 minutes, the road goes through a park, it's nice to take a stroll. Near the center of Kemer, shops, cafes - everything is within walking distance. The beach is pebbly, the water is clear. A hotel you want to return to. It was the second time and we didn't regret it. I recommend it for a peaceful rest with a comfortable atmosphere and lively interaction. Thank you very much to the entire Viking Star team. You make the vacation truly warm and memorable. We stayed at the hotel with my husband from August 20 to September 2. They knew about all the downsides from the reviews beforehand, so I am surprised by people who come based on a travel agent's recommendation without reading anything, and then say that there is no water on the beach and it's not a five-star place. People, read the reviews, and decide for yourselves if it's worth it for the specific price or not. We are very satisfied given the amount we paid. Several 3-star hotels were sold for this price on the same dates. Numbers. The numbers are tired, but everything is working, there were no strange smells. We lived in a room almost above the reception, we were tempted by the Wi-Fi that reached the room) If you sleep with an open balcony, it's impossible, there is constant noise from the buses bringing and taking tourists. It feels like the plane is landing) We slept with the air conditioning on. Plus - they asked to change, they gave us three rooms facing the neighboring building on the far side from the mosque, but we decided to stay in ours because one room on the roof was small and would get very hot, the second was also under the roof, the third was on the second floor, but from that side of the building there is an exhaust fan from the kitchen, I suspect it wouldn't be quieter)) and besides all that, we didn't hear our neighbors, but there, who the neighbors are is unknown) Cleaning every day, if you are not in the room, we were left without cleaning several times because we were in the room. Not critical. The bedding and towels were changed. They reported the water every time, you could ask the cleaner. Beach. Two beaches, we went to the sandy one once, we didn't like it, there are many places, but we didn't want to be tied to the bus. And to us, it seemed dirtier than gravel. To the gravel area about 10-15 minutes walk through the park. It's not an option with children, or if you don't like to walk a lot. It's a bit heavy in the heat too, but mornings before 11 and evenings after 4 are fine. We had vacationed in other Vikings before, so we were aware of which beach it was, so there were no surprises for us. The beach is small, the sunbeds are close together, but we hardly lay on them. Everything is paid for in the bar, we brought a bottle of water with us. The water in the sea was perfectly clear during our dates. It stormed for three days, there were quite large waves, but in the evening we swam. Beach towels are provided free of charge at the spa. Food. There is a lot of different food, mostly Turkish, we found what we liked and ate, no problem. Very tasty. The only downside is that they don't know how to cook fish, which was very sad. On the grill, it was often overcooked, even the mackerel, the big fish in salt was not salted and was somehow tasteless. There was red fish on the Turkish night, but we didn't manage to get it, some dishes don't update, that's a minus. And we saw remnants of crayfish on the tourists' plates once, we didn't get any either) Otherwise, the food is very tasty, the pide are amazing, gezleme, very tasty pilaf with beef, chicken, turkey, lots of desserts, soups, fruits, burgers, fries, lots of side dishes, potatoes, grilled vegetables, in my opinion there is a lot of food and most of it is very tasty. And what amazing waffles with strawberries and bananas we had after lunch. I don't know who can't find something to eat. Ayran, good beer, didn't like the wine, didn't drink hard liquor. Tea is not very good, coffee is so-so. Ala cart. I didn't like it. Of all the food that was there, only the red fish and one of the desserts were tasty. The salads were very sour, I don't know, maybe with lemon, the fish was too salty for an appetizer, the cheese was tasty, the meat was very tough, and the second dessert was very sweet, maybe that will be a plus for someone. To me, the food is tastier in the main restaurant. Animation. In the morning I saw yoga, in the afternoon water polo, darts, aqua aerobics. Cool shows in the evenings, except for Mr. and Mrs. Hotel, the contests are certainly fun. Animators Soner, Kristina, Vika, and Roland are very cool, lively, this is mentioned in many reviews, thank you! You are a great team! There was karaoke, several dance shows: Latin, contemporary dance, African show - acrobats, live vocals twice a week, they sing very cool, discos - I missed those - only when there is live vocals and a Turkish night. In the Turkish night, the same singer in all the Vikings, I didn't really like it, the repertoire should be updated, better not in Russian, in English, but something newer. A girl danced the oriental dance on the Turkish night, I also liked it. We didn't go to the nightclubs of those who want to go. Overall, the animation is good, it definitely won't be boring) Team. Despite all the downsides, I want to come back here precisely because of the people. Ayshe and Ilya at the reception help solve any question, they are very warm-hearted. Treatment as a dear guest. In the restaurant, the boy explained to me that I needed garlic; he speaks Turkish, I speak Russian, we understood each other, he brought a head of garlic)) and everything there is like that, they don't try to brush it off, but help solve the problem. The employees have been working at this hotel for many years, which says a lot to me. Met one of the hotel owners, a very interesting person, he asks how I am enjoying the vacation, if there are any wishes. They don't keep track of how much anyone drank or ate; they pour as much as you want, although some might have been limited) The attitude is charming) For us, the price-quality ratio was ideal. If it's more expensive, then of course you expect better service, but this hotel is one of the cheapest 5-star hotels in its price category. For this price, it's just super)
