We have enjoyed a fantastic stay and we want to highlight, above all, the exquisite treatment received from all the hotel staff. From the very first moment they made us feel at home, always with a smile and ready to help.
We want to especially thank Ariel and Paula for their very close and personalized attention, always making sure that we did not lack anything.
Also to Manuel Pérez and Juanma, who showed exceptional thoughtfulness and sensitivity toward our celiac nephew, demonstrating an attention and professionalism that made the difference.
And a very special mention cannot be missed for Jose, from the maintenance team, who saved us from a real jam with a kindness and efficiency worthy of note.

We've just returned from an outstanding two-week stay at this beautifully situated hotel in Andalusia, and though we were sad to leave, we came away genuinely rested and happy. This must be our fourteenth visit over nine years, and the service has never once let us down.
**The setting.** Less than 20 minutes from Málaga Airport, the hotel sits on an exclusive estate with a striking entrance and a huge, quirky welcome area. Staff are immaculately presented and unfailingly professional. Beachside restaurants and entertainment are five minutes away — including a stunning Buddhist temple and butterfly farm side by side in Benalmádena, and a superb drag club, Minnelli's. Fuengirola itself can feel like a lot, but it's an easy escape back to the hotel, or up into the hills toward Ronda's wineries or the shops and restaurants of Mijas.
**The hotel.** We were greeted with cold water and Cava at reception, and our room was ready hours early. An elevator runs directly from the parking area to our part of the building, and luggage arrived promptly. The room itself was beautiful, with a full sea view, a sun-catching balcony, a bathtub, separate shower, lounge area, and two basins. The bed was Emperor-sized, the linens changed almost daily, and the Rituals toiletries were a nice touch. Sound insulation was excellent — as a musician who practises most days, that mattered to me.
**Breakfast.** This time we ate at the infinity pool, and it was first class: homemade kefir, fresh juices, six kinds of bread, a toaster, cereals, fruit, wonderful French butter, and a cook-to-order menu (off-menu requests welcome — I had fried eggs and bacon more than once). Across all fourteen visits, the staff there have been unfailingly warm and the quality consistently high; it's genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had, and we travel constantly. The Nespresso coffee was good, and service struck the right balance — attentive without hovering. We've also had excellent breakfasts before at the downstairs Med restaurant, which has its own omelette chef.
**Relaxing.** There are two further pools — one on the lower floor we've still never made it to, and another with a water garden, cushioned loungers and reasonably priced food and drink, where we had sushi, burgers, and a fierce Caipiroska. The spa is exceptional: jetted massage pool, sauna, steam room, ice bath and ice room, and a couples' massage with a resident discount (mine Swedish, my husband's a sports massage he described as merciless, in the best way).
The best Hiltons understand that service is everything, and this one lives up to that — Samantha in particular made our stay, and the concierge team looked after us throughout. We only used the beach club for dinner this visit, but the food, pool, and view are all strong.
A few minor notes: some tiling in the lifts and pool areas is showing wear and could use refreshing, and our room could have offered more pillow choice. A broken black-out curtain was fixed promptly once mentioned, though a faulty light by the shaving mirror wasn't.
None of that dims what was, once again, a wonderful holiday. Heartfelt thanks to the whole team, and especially the infinity pool staff, who were brilliant throughout.
