Avoid this place it is full of cockroaches and when you complain to reception they hand you a spray not once in 2 weeks was bedding replaced fresh towels that u would think have just come from the sewers kids not allowed to play in pool with water guns lilos not allowed would never return or let my dog stay there it is a ....hole
just home from a wewk in this hotel. lovely staff, nice friendly life guard. they only thing that pisses us off about this place is..there's signs up about not reserving sun loungers, but hey ho it's done every moring by the same people and not a thing done about it.some are down frist thing in the moring, put their towels down and fck off till noon or after,we've seen it. 13 umbrellas is all that's around the pool.. so CORONA BLANCA" do something about people reserving sun loungers and get more umbrellas in around the pool.. other than that we enjoyed our stay.
Great hotel! Clean, great facilities and a warm welcome. Brilliant location, bus stops to everywhere right outside. Beach, shops, bars and restaurants (hundreds of them!) are a few minutes' stroll away. Brilliant value for money, deserves 3 stars. Take earplugs, the nightlife is LOUD!
We've just returned from a 7 days holiday. Initially, we talked about giving this hotel a five stars review, and wondered why it is classed as a 2 stars only. But then, the longer we stayed in it, the more we saw, our opinion shifted all the way to one star. 1. The bedroom does NOT have a window. Going there in the summer is agony, unless you pack a fan, or buy one from the shops. 2. We had a room at ground level - and we spent every minute guarding the back door when open, as it made the access to the beautiful inner garden and chaise-longue area, where all the American-type cockroaches like to roam. The hotel actually sprayed some substance on the grass one day during our stay; it was smelly, strong and effective, we saw the dead insects lying on the outside tiles for days. BTW, the whole area is infested with these big, strong, insects, and the hotel did try to make it better for the customer - still, guarding the doors every time you try to refresh the air in your room is not something to look forward to during your holiday! 3. There's no excuse for the common-type kitchen cockroaches making an appearance now and then. During our 7 days stay, we killed 6 of these, including very small ones (which can easily hide into your suitcase). 4. The room is clean when you arrive, but cleaning is somewhat "selective" afterwards. We never had the toilet seat cleaned, we never had the floor broomed or mopped. There is broom and dustpan provided, but not a mop, and I decided not to buy one. By the way, I had to buy everything needed for a kitchen with self-catering: washing liquid, dish sponge, microfiber cloth (bought a set of three, one for the kitchen, one for the shower water getting the bathroom floor soaking wet, and the third one I just took home with me because I am a Scrooge). If the hotel provides dishes, glasses, cutlery and pots and pans, why not add the basics for keeping them clean? Just saying! 5. All the rules are meant to be broken. Eg, the pool: no kid under 8 y old is allowed in the big pool, the opening hours are 10-18, you cannot reserve a chaise-longue by leaving the towel on it etc - at least 6 small kids in the big pool at any time, the pool was open at 9 and still open long after 7 PM, and the towels were actually spending the night on the chaise-longues. Check-out time is variable, the web page says 12 o'clock, the receptionist says 11 o'clock. The Wi-Fi is free, says the web page, but you have to pay to get the password for it, and you can only log in 2 devices. 6. After you check out, you are allowed to leave the luggage in the back room and enjoy the pool. That's nice, but only if you're given this information in advance. Once you pack everything, I doubt you'll start searching for the swimming suit... 7. The hotel shows signs of ageing, the wall paint cracks and falls if you touch it, some of the wooden furniture is really old, the sofa has become so ergonomical it forms a basin in the centre... 8. Every evening, there's strong music noise coming from somewhere nearby. But it is not a rave or a hard-rock venue, it is live music, and it's really nice. The hotel is close to a pedestrian area anyway, and that is very noisy at night. If you can avoid this hotel, I'd say do avoid it. There must be better out there!
Firstly I have to mention the lifeguard, what a happy, helpful and fun man he is, the best lifeguard we have ever had. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Cleaners very nice and friendly. The pool is amazing very clean and big. We managed to get a sun lounger everyday we wanted one. Hotel was very clean and had all kitchen bits U need. Microwave kettle toaster fridge and freezer. The hotel is very central to everywhere. The only downside was the noise coming from pubs and restaurants and karaoke and buses, so loads hard to sleep and I'm a good sleeper. We had room 120 and the noise effected my whole family. But do think we had a bad room for noise! Also so hot no fans on ceilings in our room.. lucky we packed one but still very hot. TV bit temperamental. Balcony light does not work due to bright security light as it's light sensitive so it doesn't come on unless U stand in front of security light. Room 120. All in all it's a great hotel very nice. Our favourite restaurant nearby was jardin del sol great breakfasts , good selection of food and great pizzas.
