We needed to post our bank cards/phones from Ireland and the receptionist (who claims to be the manager of the hotel ) point blank refused to accept the package. We enquired with two other receptionists who were lovely and agreed to accept the package. The first receptionist reprimanded the other two , and reiterated that she would refuse the package. We are on holidays with our infant and finding it hard to access money without phones and bank cards. It's actually more effort to be as rude and hostile as she was to us. I will post her name when I acquire it as to let people know to avoid dealing with if you have any issues at all. I've worked in hospitality for most of my life and I was genuinely taken back by her complete lack of respect for people and her absolute zero level of customer service. We pay fees to the hotel , we regularly avail of the bar, coffee shop and other amenities so to say we're not hotel guests is disgusting. The hostility towards private owners , considering the high annual fees , needs to be addressed and is beyond frustrating. The location is great and the room is ours , but I had to afford these 1 star as rating these any higher doesn't address the issue with the staff member.

Great location opposite the harbour and sea front. Plenty of bars around. Staff friendly and helpful on reception. Stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the street side appt 113. Had a side view. No noise heard as doors and windows are double doored/ windows. Kettle. Toaster and 2 ring hob available. Pool was nice. Plenty of sunbeds. Whole place was kept clean. Would definitely stay again.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend it. I booked a one-bedroom apartment with a City View, but when we arrived for check-in, we were given an apartment with a different view. When I pointed out that this was not what I had booked, the staff offered me a much smaller room if I wanted a city view, even though I had paid for a one-bedroom apartment. The biggest issue, however, was the way we were treated. The reception staff were rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. When I requested either the accommodation I had booked or a refund, they simply told me to contact Booking.com and leave the hotel. I was traveling with my elderly mother, who specifically wanted a city-view apartment. Despite her age and our reasonable request, the staff showed no understanding or willingness to help us find a fair solution. The situation escalated to the point where the police were called to remove us, even though we were only asking to receive the accommodation we had paid for or to have our money refunded. To make matters worse, I still have not received a refund. This experience was stressful, upsetting, and completely unacceptable. I hope the hotel management takes customer service more seriously and ensures that future guests receive the room type they actually book.
