Hotel Marquesa
Hotel Marquesa on historiallista kanarialaista tyyliä edustava hotelli, joka sijaitsee vuonna 1712 valmistuneessa rakennuksessa Puerto de la Cruzin vanhankaupungin sydämessä. Hotellin vehreän sisäpihan ympärille sijoittuvat huoneet luovat viihtyisän ja perinteikkään tunnelman. Hotellista avautuu upeita näkymiä Teide-vuorelle, ja Jardín-ranta sijaitsee noin 700 metrin päässä.
Hotellin huoneissa on televisio, puhelin, tallelokero ja hiustenkuivaaja. Huoneissa ei ole ilmastointia, ja WiFi-yhteys on käytettävissä ainoastaan hotellin yleisissä tiloissa. A beautiful and comfortable hotel. Excellent location near the sea and the free parking at the marina esplanade, considering an accessible price and the pool. A wonderful breakfast. Comfortable rooms, with a great mattress and an attractive Canary Islands rustic wood style and not the typical modern one found everywhere. Urgent and very important flaw to improve: its inefficient Wi-Fi. Thanks to the kindness of the daytime receptionist, we were able to find a room on the third try that did allow a connection.
Fab location right in centre of town. You will have walk from drop off point but it is only a few mins. Very Spanish in style in the oldest part tho more bland in the newer bit. The room I had was fine with a nice big bed. Pity no aircon and that the cupboard didn’t match the rest dark wood (while rest was blond). Had a very tepid shower which took ages to get to that. The food at breakfast was both hot and cold tho bacon was overcooked. The food in the public restaurant was very good (and I got a discount of 10% off as a resident). The staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was tiny but a nice seating area on floor 5.
The hotel staff is extremely warm and contributed to the wonderful memories we will keep of Puerto de la Cruz. The kindness of the receptionist, the sincere smiles, and the welcome in perfect French that the restaurant server offered us during breakfast was a very nice way to start our days of excursions. We will not forget them...
