I am giving two stars only for the property, which overall is truly very beautiful, and for the staff, who always proved to be kind and helpful. A heartfelt round of applause goes to the maids in charge of cleaning the rooms, who worked truly to perfection: in particular Ms. Paola, impeccable and with a unique humanity, who changed our towels every day. Even in the moments when we left the dog in the bungalow and she could not enter to clean, she still left us a bag hanging outside with clean towels so we would not lack anything. It is truly a great shame, because the property has enormous potential, but they should absolutely re-evaluate the quality of the food. The worst point was precisely the dining service: very low-quality food, inedible and often with a rancid taste. The sweet breakfast was entirely composed of industrial products of very poor quality; one morning I tried to make myself toast with jam and even the toast bread had a strange taste, between rancid and a very strong aftertaste of garlic. All of this led me, my partner, and my 5-year-old son to have a bad case of gastroenteritis, ruining our vacation. Furthermore, in the buffet area it often happened that we found dirty plates placed among the clean ones; certainly not the staff's fault, but due to the rudeness of other guests, something the property should monitor nonetheless. Finally, we encountered an invasion of ants with an actual anthill in the wall under the bathroom window, and several times we saw cockroaches outside the bungalows. The property is wonderful and is made special by people like Ms. Paola, but the dining service requires immediate intervention. As it is now, unfortunately I do not recommend it.

We have just arrived back from a 7 night stay, and cannot fault the hotel for its flawless decoration and ambience. The photos available here give a perfect description of the stunning grounds and amazing pool area. There are plenty of sun lounges and parasols with no need to put your own towels out in the early hours. The staff work hard to keep the hotel looking spotless. We stayed in a garden suite which comfortably accommodated for three adults. The room was fully kitted out with a large sofa bed and twin beds. with a small kitchen area complete with microwave, kettle and small fridge. The location is a little further out so we needed to use a taxi’s, which the hotel reception can call. Taxi prices arranged from €6 to €9 each way. The bigger supermarkets are further out, I walked 30mins to the Supermercado Gordillo Rondo which was more reasonably priced. We stayed Bed & Breakfast, generally the breakfast was a mix of hot and cold items. Each day there was a large variety provided. Unfortunately, my vegan request on booking was not passed on to the restaurant staff so there were no specific vegan items available other than plant-based milk. It would’ve been helpful if items such as serial were labelled suitable for vegans as it was difficult to know if they were. I was provided with a vegan yoghurt for 3 mornings however it was difficult to communicate that I needed vegan yoghurt and not lactose free which was offered to me. Overall, our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this gorgeous hotel if you are looking for somewhere quiet yet stylish this is the place for you!

Clean and nice room. Lovely staff. Morning buffet very good. Evening dinner infects...how is it possible to cook so badly... The pool water is freezing as is the Jacuzzi. We are extremely disappointed.
