Lovely resort! We booked a room with a sea view which we found very spacious as a family of 3 and was cleaned daily. Our daughter especially loved the patisserie and the variety of ice-creams available! We have found the service to be fantastic during our stay. The noise level has been acceptable. Our only negative comment would be that there is no music at the pool side during the day.
Honest review – ELA Excellence Belek. We stayed at **ELA Excellence Belek for 10 nights in August 2026**, so here’s our honest review — the good, the bad and everything in between. **Arrival & ELA Assistants** A really smooth arrival. We were greeted quickly, given refreshments and checked in by an ELA assistant. The assistants were helpful throughout, although we found speaking to them at the desk much easier than using the app due to the language barrier. **Food** Breakfast was decent with plenty of choice and fresh cooking. We mostly ate lunch at La Sofa by the beach or the patisserie. The main evening buffet was our biggest disappointment — average and lacking variety, so we found ourselves eating the same things repeatedly. The **à la cartes were excellent**. We tried La Salsa, Gelato’s Greek Tavern and La Santé. All were worth paying for, with the **Tomahawk steak being a particular highlight**. The Gelato’s beach club felt like a waste as it’s a 12+, most people at the resort had young children and whoever I looked in it appeared empty. **Drinks** Excellent. Top-shelf spirits, great cocktails and lovely coffees from the coffee shop. ** Staff** A mixed bag. Some staff genuinely went above and beyond, while others were simply doing their job and Didn’t seem to particularly Enjoy guest interaction. Animation was fairly limited, although we actually preferred the quieter atmosphere. Lifeguards were also noticeably better than at other hotels we've stayed in. ** Hotel & grounds** Beautiful grounds, with the koi fish being a lovely touch. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and generally very well maintained. Yes, there are minor imperfections if you look closely — cracked tiles, the odd missed spot — but nothing that affected our stay. The gardening and cleaning teams work incredibly hard. It's also worth remembering that **5-star doesn't mean every 5-star hotel is the same**. ELA is a very good 5-star family resort, rather than an ultra-luxury property where you're paying a huge premium for absolute perfection. We felt the standard was very good for what we paid. ** Bottled water** Probably my biggest criticism. As a family of four, we were getting through **12+ single-use bottles of water a day**, and there didn't appear to be dedicated recycling bins. Other hotels we've stayed at provide reusable bottles and refill stations. We'd much rather see this at ELA — even instead of the beach bag! ** Rooms & facilities** Our room was clean and well maintained. The kids' facilities looked excellent, and the **sushi-making and chocolate-making classes were brilliant**. ### Overall ELA isn't perfect, but we had a really enjoyable 10-night holiday and would recommend. **Highlights:** ✔️ Beautiful grounds ✔️ Excellent drinks ✔️ Fantastic à la cartes ✔️ Great kids' facilities ✔️ Lovely activities ✔️ Helpful assistants ✔️ Clean rooms ✔️ Good lifeguards **Lowlights:** ❌ Evening buffet lacked variety ❌ Lots of single-use plastic ❌ App communication could be better
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t fault it. The facilities were fantastic, and the food was outstanding, with so much choice and everything being of such a high standard. What really made our holiday so enjoyable, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful, and they genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay special. The kids’ club was a huge hit with our children. They absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave! It became something they looked forward to every single day, which made such a difference for us as parents too. A special mention has to go to Can and Sami, who work at the outdoor coffee shop and Shake Shop. They were both incredibly friendly, welcoming and always had a smile on their faces. The staff are a real credit to the hotel and made our experience even more enjoyable. We had such a wonderful holiday and are planning to come back next year Highly recommended!
Very pretty if there’s a problem with the rooms they are very helpful there is a very annoying noise out side in hotel outside bit but near the pools you can not here it
Location was quite pretty to begin with but gradually as my time came to an end I started to develop abnormal thoughts throughout the night. Atmosphere was quite positive with lots of happy good vibes with my family and fellow coworkers. Rooms were a real challenge that we had to overcome together, struggling with heat, towels, fans, doors. Etc. The value is really the best part about this hotel, the spectacular chocolate, coffee and cocktails were quite enjoyable. The room was really quite lovely but the biggest downside was I witnessed a great disturbance when I was with my family and we were wandering the restaurant when we were suddenly ambushed by a Kitten. This has lead to major injuries, damage and harm towards me and fellow coworkers.
