This hotel was absolutely disgusting in terms of service. While I was just heading to the washroom, one of the attendants blatantly gave me the middle finger. That is unbelievably rude, childish, and completely unacceptable. There is no excuse for staff to behave like that toward a guest. Instead of basic respect, I was insulted for no reason. Management should be ashamed, and I would never recommend this place to anyone

This hotel does not deserve 4 stars. Simple rooms, little annoyed staff at the front desk, breakfast was as such. For example, when the staff came with “clean glasses” after washing, they weren’t dried and she carried the glasses with her fingers inside the glasses. Could use a board and in addition the glasses could have been dried. Several newly washed plates were dirty. Although it is advertised that it is possible to have dinner at the hotel, it is not true. No dirty glasses were brought from our room, it had to be arranged yourself. We may be demanding, but with 4 stars we expect it. In addition, the water did not run well enough down the shower and we informed without anything being done. Overall it seemed that they had given up in a way, things were kind of not so careful. Would not choose this hotel again. Unfortunately, with a little effort, the experience could become something completely different. We do not agree whether we should choose bad or average, should be able to choose something in between.

Location, location, location!** That is definitely this hotel's biggest strength. It is situated right in the heart of Riga's Old Town, making it the perfect base for exploring the city on foot. The hotel has its own unique charm, especially if you appreciate historic buildings. The beautiful old staircase is impressive, while a modern elevator provides easy access to the upper floors. Breakfast was good, and our Superior room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was a bit too firm for my personal taste, and I probably should have asked for a couple of extra pillows. The customer service was friendly throughout our stay. Overall, a charming hotel in an unbeatable location.
