Lovely hotel staff are lovely throughout the hotel pool area maybe a little small but adequate hotel would benefit from a small bar area
This a perfect 3 star hotel, it is 5minutes from everything beaches bars and restaurants. The hotel is spotlessly clean the rooms are basic but they do have everything you require. Spotless bathroom with a powerful shower. The breakfast buffet is excellent and would put so called better hotels to shame. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel
Just returned home from a 4 night stay at Ona Las Rampas. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very polite and helpful, and the train station that connects to the airport is a 5 minute walk away. The bus station is 2 minutes away too. The hotel is a 10 minute walk down to the seafront. HOWEVER.. we stayed in room 203, which was the room next to reception. The noise was HORRENDOUS. Neither of us had a full or restful night sleep our entire stay. Whether it be people talking walking past the door, or the cleaning trollies being pushed up and down the corridors all night long, the noise was not acceptable. I couldnt wait to get home and actually have some sleep. The air con is not great. The lowest temperature is 18 degrees, once it hits this the aircon unit switches off. You can select to keep it on, but it will switch off at this temperature, and then switch on when the temperature rises again. However, having this on during the night isnt great as the noise the aircon unit makes when switching back on is ridiculously loud too. If it wasn't for people talking outside the door during the night, or the trolleys constantly being pushed past, we were being woken up do the aircon. Not great. The pool and pool area is small, only around 15 sun loungers, however we much preferred the beach instead. Loungers to rent were €8 per day but were well worth it for the bars, sea and space. Theres a bar about 1 minutes walk away, just over the road to the right and up the steps called Two Doors Down. this is a must visit. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere was great every night. Most likely wouldn't return because of the sleep issues as we did not return home feeling rested or relaxed.
