Great location, friendly and helpful staff, cheap pool bar. We have stayed before and will stay again
Just finished a week here with my six year old son, we had a studio apartment, which has everything, kitchen is perfect, no oven but has a microwave oven, electric two ring hob, the firdge is very big and has all the utensils you need We had our sheets changed once and the room cleaned once which was fine as I clean as I go. The AC wasn't working when we arrived and did take two days to be fixed, but it's brilliant and kept the room at a nice temp, also they gave us a portable AC unit while waiting which was fine. The staff are very helpful and extremely nice to deal with also The pool snack bar is great, the food is lovely (especially the baguettes) and it's very reasonably priced (the sureo on tap is so refreshing) The staff in the snack bar are so so nice, they speak little English but couldn't be nicer and are very patient with the kids Now for the issue and the reason I wouldn't consider returning. There are two residents and they absolutely rule the pool area. Everyone staying here all spoke about it, they sit beside the lifeguards and direct them to stop anything and everything they don't want to allow. Kids are constantly pestered for every little thing. The safety net around the pool is left up 24/7 and if you dare touch it the couple (pesky Pedro and cranky Camilla) will literally shout at the kids. I watched as we all did as they threatened to have kids banned from the pool area for jumping into the pool. You aren't allowed any inflatables in the pool, not even the small rings that are tight around the kids for safety, no balls, no lylos, you can't sit beside the pool unless you have a toe in the water. They sit and watch to make sure no one has brought as much as a slice of bread to the pool, if they see it they send the bar staff over, but we all watched as they brought their own food and sat there and ate There was one family who had two members who can't eat gluten and the snack bar serves no gluten free options Camilla sent the bar staff over to lecture them with the signs about no outside food and warned them not to do it again, there was no forgiveness for the fact they couldn't eat anything at the snack bar. This couple sit beside the life guard from morning until evening, but on the Monday when the Spanish were here on a day off they disappeared and everyone was allowed have some fun until they returned It wasn't explained to anyone who these people were, but we gathered they are some sort of residents committee, they also count up and take away the two euros that are collected for the sun beds, which is ridiculous as there is far more sun beds than guests Overall a lovely apartment complex, but definitely do not stay here if you have kids or want to have some fun yourself down at the pool area
Something normal and ordinary. We thought it was expensive for what it is. But nothing special
