Wonderful hotel! Giulia, was so welcoming, and always ready to help. The room was so cosy and confortable.

We (mom and 3 adult sons) picked this hotel because it's close to the train station, got decent reviews, and is reasonably priced. Had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It's a really nice hotel, rumpled in places but with a wonderful old-time grandeur. We had 3 rooms: 2 doubles and a single. All faced the back, away from the main street Not much of a view, but very quiet. Clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast which was delicious: a great variety of sweet and savory food, and plenty of very comfortable seating. Breakfast until 10am; one of our party showed up at 9:45. I was sure the food trays would be bare and picked over, but they came out with fresh potato pancakes just as he arrived. And they were the best potato pancakes we've had during our entire trip! We enjoyed our stay and have recommended this hotel to friends as it's clean, comfortable, convenient, and staff are really friendly and helpful. [The train station is across the street, but it's a huge street and to cross it one has to go underneath it, which means stairs and a tunnel.]

Wonderfully welcoming and located hotel. Great value for the few days we spent in Riga. Close to the old town centre and also the rail station (important for us). Impressed from tje outset as Olga, the friendly receptionist, suggested we try one of the Lido restaurants for an authentic and inexpensive meal. Five star recommendation if you’re looking for value and choice. Comfy rooms and bed. All amenities we needed snd clean.
