We stayed here for 4 nights Overall it was good, felt that the breakfast wasn’t that accommodating of tourists from the UK no kettle or tea/coffee facilities in the room had to pay 2 euros every time i wanted a cup of tea and no milk to go with it in tiny cups room was clean, good location, no air conditioning
DO NOT STAY HERE!! Overpriced and no hot water for 2 days due to heating issue affecting the whole hotel. Pathetic printer sings around the hotel with 2 mornings of freezing cold showers at a cost of €411 Absolute joke of a hotel. No offer of help from reception or reception manager - only response was to "e-mail B&B head office" You pay in full at reception when you check in so they have you money and can't issue any form of refund form the payment machine they gladly took your money from. No refund available, no alternate options. There's not even a kettle in the room to get some form of warm water to wash with. Far better options elsewhere - avoid this place. Breakfast is rubbish too!
The room was comfortable and clean. As with many places in Berlin, the hotel is a mere one block from mass transport (S-Bahn in this case). Friendly staff and good breakfast
We arrived on Sat afternoon straight from Brandenburg Airport, taking public transport then eventually the taxi from Bellevue after trying to walk. Tiergarten is breathtaking and this little gem of a hotel is situated beside the exquisite Charlotten Tor. It's our first time staying in a B&B Hotel so I didn't know what to expect. There are self check in desks but I opted to check in with the receptionist who spoke perfect English as they all do. Unfortunately, my German isn't even 10% yet. Check in was easy, paid the city tax, was handed the key & up we strolled to the second floor. First impressions of the hotel is how clean it is & the surrounding area. Our hotel room is small & cosy but has everything we need. We have a massive window overlooking the Mercedes Benz building but is still private for us not to feel intrusive. Room is impeccably clean, has the most comfortable double bed with a Samsung tv on the wall. There are 4 power points overall, 2 on each side of the bed (one has a USB port), 1 at the table and 1 in the bathroom. It has plenty of wardrobe space for clothing and shoes. There is a hairdryer provided. Hand wash and shower gel are also provided in the bathroom which are lovely to use and a nice touch. The hotel also provides, bottled drinks, snacks and toiletries in the reception which is fantastic. Breakfast buffet is around €12 each but has a vast range of highly delicious foods from bread, cheese and meats to fruit, cereals, pastries, yogurts etc In all honesty, I don't want to leave this hotel and Berlin as it has been a wonderful experience. Thanks B&B Hotel Tiergarten.
