We enjoyed our holiday at the Diagoras hotel in October. Our room was spacious with a balcony and it was kept very clean, as was the rest of the hotel. The food was good with some variety, though the hot food could have been warmer. The staff were very helpful and friendly on the whole. The hotel has a good location, a short walk from the main bus routes, and the shuttle bus to Faliraki and the beach is excellent with a lovely driver. Only a few things could have been improved. There was hardly ever any hot water for our whole stay, the internet connection was very poor and the male evening receptionist was surly and unhelpful, only interested in playing on his mobile phone. Otherwise, a very good hotel and great value for money.
Hotel is dated. Pictures don't look like reality. Terrible rooms. Food cold and tasteless. We left without staying overnight and booked another accommodation late at night.
STOP and choose another hotel. We stayed in block 6, about 400m from the main hotel where the restaurant was. Small pool at block 6 was ok, however with sharp edges on tiles in the pool, poolbar ok, cute bar staff, the food in the restaurant was not good, the same food every day, and very little to choose between, soda had no soda and the beer was flat, complained over there every day, but they were fucking just happy. The room was worn and with bad beds, the bathroom was clamped with brown spots on the walls and a clamp toilet brush, the toilet could not rinse out. Glass door to the room with spot light, illuminate the room up at night. Worst hotel experience we've ever had.
