LOCATION: On a side street, surrounded by residential buildings, a good 5-minute walk to the sea. And at both ends of the street there is a supermarket, both a good 5 minutes away. The old town and the more touristy center are easily reachable on foot in 10 to 15 minutes. AMENITIES/SERVICE: The hotel is in good condition, clean, and tidy. The lobby area is very large, practically the entire ground floor of the hotel, which extends in a rectangular shape without partition walls. At one end are elevators and the reception, in the middle a bar and seating options all around, then two pool tables, and at the other end the dance floor/disco and a large children's paradise with all sorts of flashing toys. On my last evening, there was a silent disco. There is a program and an entertainer/supervisor practically every evening. In terms of amenities, it felt a bit like a Motel One lobby, interpreted in a Spanish way. Just modern-urban. Wi-Fi is free, stable, and sufficiently strong. Two modern elevators; fast and sufficiently large. Hotel is largely barrier-free. There are even escalators to the rooms in the wing toward the back. I did not make use of any other services. There is a leisure program and a pool, which is located at the very top on the mountainside with a beautiful view. Restaurant in the basement; barrier-free accessible. The dining hall seemed almost too small for so many people. The layout was also unfavorable: The food and buffets were at one end of the room, the seating more on the other side, so that crowds of people are always moving back and forth, making it somewhat cramped in some places. A real obstacle course with a lot of having to dodge. There are a few coffee machines that grind coffee beans fresh. Overall, the selection of food (breakfast and dinner) is quite good in terms of quantity and quality, sufficient for the 4 stars according to the local category. Average eaters will find a large selection. For me as a vegetarian, there was also a sufficient selection. For vegans, a bit less selection. Those who, for example, like to have a good and hearty breakfast can gladly spend the 12 EUR for breakfast. I can recommend it. For me, half-board plus was included in the package tour. ROOM: My room was a family room again, with a double bed and a single bed to the side. The room was clean and seemed like new; I was lucky, since the second floor and the rooms there were just recently renovated. There is no luggage rack, so I repurposed the single bed. With three people in this room, however, it can get a bit cramped in my opinion. There is a balcony with seating. The windows are modern and insulate sound well. With the balcony door closed, it is quite quiet. There is a safe with a keypad and a decent air conditioning system. The bathroom is small, with a shower. Also in like-new condition. Unfortunately, it does take quite a while for the water to get warm. At least the water pressure is sufficient. Towels and bed linens clean and okay. The toilet paper was also sufficiently thick. CONCLUSION: I stayed here for two nights. Unlike the previous hotel in Arinsal, you believe this hotel's 4 stars. This hotel is also popular with tour groups; it was very well occupied every evening. There was always something going on; people often sat outside in front of the hotel for a very long time. The location is good, as is the surrounding infrastructure. I cannot say if or how good the parking situation is. It is just a narrow one-way street in a residential area. I liked the hotel, I felt comfortable. I would recommend it to friends and family, and would stay there again myself.
Lovely hotel close to beach and old town. Lots of amenities especially if you have young children. Close to pubs and restaurants.
