We are staying at Ona Princesa Playa with friends for 8 nights. Hotel is in a beautiful location regarding nightlife opportunities/walking distance to the old town and directly on the beach and boulevard. Miquel checked us in and gave us a relaxed feeling, just like the rest of the reception team. Breakfast is excellent and there are many choices. Rooms/pool neat and clean. We would definitely come back. Staff, thank you all for the nice time.

We have lived at this hotel for 10 years now. I chose this because it has had a good price and a very good location on the beach promenade. We have also been satisfied with the cleaning, important to mention. In the first few years we never got any of the best rooms, but okay, we asked to book certain rooms for next year, but it couldn't be done. From the very beginning, the hotel has also shown signs of wear and tear, which has gotten worse with each passing year. After the hotel joined the Ona chain, one could book different room types. We have tried this, but again got room with the worst in the class. So this year we thought we'd book the cheapest so we know what we get. That's what we ordered. The room had a view right onto the intersection in the main street, which we expected. So far, everything is fine for us. Right up to the first trip in the shower. Then the water starts to gush out of the wall behind the mixer tap. We are calling down to say from and they will send an update. He shows up after a while and shuts off the water, calls a caretaker, and they say that no one can live here and that someone from the reception will call in a few minutes. Very nice and gentle both of them. We wait long and long without hearing anything, so one of us goes down to the reception. Meets no kindness, but a message to wait in the room. We are waiting, but nothing is happening, and the need to use the toilet arises. We pack everything and go down and get absolutely yelled at and questions about why we are there. Then I answer with the same tone, not popular. They say they plan to upgrade us tomorrow. We had to stay in the reception! We had the resit from 2 AM that night, and wanted to take a shower and go to bed. We refused this and got a new room with a sea view. This was our last trip to this hotel. It needs substantial upgrades and some of those at the reception should learn a bit about customer service and etiquette, one of them threw up with their arms out and asked "what can I do about it?", that is when his job is to help the customers. We have never experienced anything like it.

We stayed at tge ONA Princess Playa with friends so that the ladies could take part in the Marbella 4 Day walking festival with more than 4000 Dutch walkers in the 15th year of this increasingly popular annual walking festival. The staff at ONA Princess Playa were both friendly and.competent in a professional way and we found this Hotel perfectly suited to our needs and central for Marbella, the Old Town, beach and promenade and 20 mins walk to the festival itself. Alberto Garcia who checked us in and the reception team were always very helpful and always present. The hotel had a very pleasant breakfast area which opens at 8am every day and Ana the lady who was always present was great too. A really special treat was the unusual but very special pest control method to deal with the seagulls on the outside breakfast terrace where on two days we met a really friendly man who flies a Harries Hawk twice each week. This was an in redible experience to see Oasis the hawk at work with his handler. A really enjoyable stay and felt lime a home from home...thank you
