The hotel is clean and situated on a quiet street. Sounds from emergency vehicles could be heard occasionally, though not disturbingly so. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There was variety in the breakfast, which was noticeably better on weekends. I definitely recommend the hotel for its excellent location!

Very central, a bit difficult to reach by car, it has parking although it can be full and they do not allow booking in advance. Great breakfast, rooms at least on the sixth floor with an attic-style ceiling that makes it a bit uncomfortable, comfortable bed and no noise.

We can highly recommend the Hotel Old Riga Palace. The value for money here is 100% right. The location is truly perfect for reaching many of Riga's sights comfortably on foot. The Old Town, numerous sights, and the Daugava River with its beautiful promenade are located very close by. The hotel is also very well situated for a trip to Jūrmala. The train station can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes, and from there you can easily get to the beach by train. We would especially like to highlight the personal and very friendly service. The hotel is managed with great dedication by Ms. Sandra Trupovniece. She is extremely friendly, helpful, and is always available to assist guests with advice and support. The chambermaids also do excellent work. Our room and the entire premises were very clean and well-maintained. We also liked the breakfast – it is sufficient and you can get very full in the morning. We felt very comfortable at the Old Riga Palace and would choose the hotel again at any time. Many thanks to Ms. Trupovniece and the entire team for the pleasant hospitality! We would love to come back.
