This was our first trip to Bulgaria, arriving late at night around midnight, the staff were friendly and helpful on arrival. We had two apartment rooms which were incredible , large spacious and really clean. Worked well for us as a large family, I had emailed to request rooms close by and we were literally across the corridor from each other couldn’t have been better. The pool was perfect, albeit a little cold, plenty of room for all, plenty of sunbeds, although towels were down mostly by 8am, this wasn’t an issue for us. Food plenty of choice and my children ate well, no complaints, the queue could be a little long if you arrived maybe 15-20 mins after it started but it moved quickly and the food was fresh and hot and you could see being cooked. There was theme each evening with the food. Entertainment staff were wonderful and a special mention to Lea who spoke to us daily, and encouraged but never pressured anyone to join in, and by the end of the holiday we all enjoyed the intro song! Rooms were cleaned each day if you left the hanger on your door requesting so and fresh towels if needed although they encourage more than one use which I don’t think is a bad thing. We always judge a holiday by wherever we would go back and we absolutely would! Can’t comment on the beach as we had a Jet 2 warning about E. coli and so we didn’t risk the sea but the beach did look beautiful and was literally 2 -5 mins walk away.

Disappointed with the food definitely not four star standard. Vegetarians are not catered for. Food is low quality and repetitive. Long queues in the restaurant felt like a school canteen. Staff were miserable and not very friendly. We were not told on arrival that our air conditioning wasn’t working, they couldn’t provide a fan or an alternative room. So first night was very uncomfortable and hot. Pool was very busy noisy and crowded. The entertainment team are annoying and loud. They play very loud music for a few hours each morning and afternoon. Not relaxing. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor part of the restaurant which is very unpleasant when eating. Evening entertainment was low budget and mediocre.
