We visited as a family (10) and had a great time. The Reception staff were brilliant and very attentive and helpful. The reception had allocated us apartments in close proximity to each other which we had previously requested. The entertainment staff encouraged the grandchildren to participate in the quizzes and games, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The apartments were clean and were cleaned each day with towel changes. The only fault I could make about the hotel is the quality of food, a lot of the hot food was cold. That apart we had a great time as a family and have already booked up to return next year.

Very Disappointing – Nowhere Near Four-Star Standard Our experience at Hotel LIVVO Koala Garden was incredibly disappointing. For a hotel advertised as four-star, the standards of hygiene, service and overall facilities fell well below what we would reasonably expect. The biggest concern was the lack of hygiene in the restaurant, particularly the presence of cats around food and on dining tables. Regardless of how friendly the cats may seem, having them around food preparation and eating areas raises obvious concerns about cleanliness and food safety. This was completely unacceptable and significantly detracted from our dining experience. The gluten-free options were also extremely poor. We had booked a table at Joey’s Restaurant, where we were specifically asked in advance whether we had any allergies or dietary requirements. We clearly stated that gluten-free food was required, yet when we arrived, there was virtually nothing suitable available. The only options offered were buffalo mozzarella with tomato and something called ‘tapas bravas’, which hardly inspired confidence as a suitable gluten-free menu. Asking about dietary requirements in advance is pointless if no effort is made to accommodate them. The hotel also seemed completely unprepared for rain. Despite children still using the pool, the undercover snack bar remained closed, leaving guests without a practical alternative. On another occasion, our apartment lost power due to scheduled works, but we received no prior notification. Guests should be informed in advance when essential services are going to be disrupted. Housekeeping was another letdown. We opted to have our room cleaned every other day, but on one occasion our bedding had simply been made rather than changed, and we were left without towels. When we asked for some, we were given blue pool towels instead of proper bath towels. Our fresh towels did not arrive until the following day. This is simply not the level of service expected from a four-star establishment. Overall, the hotel feels incredibly run-down, and the artificial grass is quite something to behold. Too many basic standards were lacking, from hygiene and dietary provision to communication, housekeeping and the management of facilities in poor weather. This hotel is nowhere near the four-star standard it claims to offer. We left feeling thoroughly disappointed and would not choose to return. There is a significant amount of work needed to improve the cleanliness, maintenance and overall guest experience.

What a fantastic hotel,food was out of this world and plentyfull, staff very friendly nothing to much to ask for,rooms very clean and cleaned daily,excellent stay will be back
