This has to be the most disappointing Leonardo Hotel stay I have encountered . The lady at the reception could have been an AI Robot , she went through the motions no emotion no expression. The 2/3 elevators to the 9th floor did not work . The room was not the upgraded room booked. No one picked up at reception had to wait 10 min for one functioning elevator . Then at reception they said my upgrade was downgraded due to lack of availability though I had a confirmation. The room is very basic and does not represent a 4 star hotel whatsoever nor the pictures presented . The stairwell which I had to use since the elevator was out of commission was filthy . Overall for the price charged even during the IFA is in appropriate .

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. The location is very good, but since Berlin is very big, it somewhat depends on what you want to do. A bit stubborn at the reception, but once that was over, it was only praise for this hotel. Breakfast very okay. It was very busy around 9 o'clock, which you naturally have in every hotel.

I chose this hotel as I was travelling with family and needed something with two rooms, reasonably priced, but well located. I have stayed in this area a few times before. The main station is very near, making it easy to get around the city but also to the airport. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Unter den Linden, where there are many places to eat and you can walk to major sites. There are good places to eat too near the hotel, which is useful after a long day of sightseeing. I will definitely stay here again. In fact, I have stayed in a few of these Leonardo hotels now and they are usually good value for money.
