Cons - The staff at the reception were very grumpy with no customer service training/behaviour. They provided a very poor service at a very important part of the holiday - the arrival. This is the management's fault, they should educate the team and teach them to be friendly and professional to the customers. The beach - it was ok, but too crowded. The room/ shower room - decent and clean but deserves a good refurbishment if you want to call the hotel a 5* accomodation. Pros - The food was plenty and tasty. I would not come back to this hotel but it was an ok 3 1/2 * hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay at Side Crown Serenity. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The room was kept clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our belongings. We also appreciated having a balcony where we could sit and relax.

First of all, I want to say that this hotel is really not worth its 5 stars. I have been to several 5-star resorts in Turkey, but this falls far below that. The reception is not friendly and you feel burdened when you come to report (for the third time) that the air conditioning in your room is not working and is leaking. After being told the third time, we got a different room. The lobby is dirty and not kept tidy, dirty tables and sofas with stains in them. The public toilets in the hotel are not falling apart yet. The food is generally the same every day and often not refrigerated when it should be. The tables are not set properly, you have to take the cutlery from other tables if you want a full set (knife and fork). Isn't there, you can take it away at the meal, but that was also often empty! When you still have half an hour to eat, the frying is already taken away and nothing is replenished. There is enough sunbathing area at the pool, so that's nice. However, at the small pool, the beer tap was broken on day 2 of our vacation. We were there for 7 days and the rest of the vacation it didn't do either. In the evening there is a mega long queue at the lobby bar, so it's not nice to get a drink. Didn't see any animation during our whole stay, which is also a shame. Overall, not worth 5 stars and we do not recommend this hotel, there are much nicer hotels in Turkey that are well-maintained and have good food.
