We really wanted to love this hotel but, unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations. Let me start with positives. All the staff are lovely; special mention to Nikola , our golf buggy chauffeur and encyclopaedia of local knowledge. Also Agata at the pool bar; highly attentive, efficient and chatty. As for the golf buggy, what a plus to get complimentary rides into Baska Voda and back just by asking. Sun loungers are very comfy. Ok - now to the disappointments. If this is a 4 star hotel then Croatia must have a different set of standards to other European countries. * room was tired with unsightly water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. * Pool 1.5m deep all around with the only way in and out being a rickety set of pool ladders that burn your hands in summer temperatures. Older and heavier people were struggling. * Pool bar only sell drinks in glassware and allow you to take it to the sun loungers. MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SOMETHING ON YOUR FEET around the pool. Never seen this dangerous practice allowed poolside before at any of the many, many other hotels we have stayed at. * Pool rules mention ‘no reserving of loungers’ yet this is not enforced. Prime loungers covered with towels by selfish people at 7am and not occupied until 4pm. * How can you not get ketchup and mayo with a €22.90 cheeseburger meal as there was none available in the hotel. * No facilities to air / dry swim-ware and damp towels. No lines or airers available for the balcony and if you are 1st floor then you suffer the dripping of wet clothes from those on the second floor who hang items over the balustrade. * Breakfast starts at 7am however the buffet isn’t fully stocked at that time. Items come out in dribs and drabs for the next 30 minutes or so. If you have an early excursion then don’t count on breakfast at 7am. Bread is available but no toaster! Cooked items available but, as mentioned previously, no ketchup! * Room ‘fridge was more worse than useless compared with usually useless hotel room ‘fridges. It was swapped for another one which was also worse than useless. All the above feedback was given to both the hotel and Jet2 rep at the start of the holiday however nothing changed during the course of our stay.

Perfect location, extremely helpfull staff, excellent food and pool area. Recommended!
