we have just returned from 4 nights here and it was long enough! *The room was ok nothing of major fault dated but clean, the kids chose their beds first and they regretted it said it was like sleeping on concrete however our beds were really comfortable. the lifts were rickety and didn't feel overly safe. *The pool didn't open until 10am which i think is really late having kids having to hang around for it to open is abit of a pain, if you didn't go early you were lucky to get a bed as people put towels out and didn't turn up the staff did occasionally remove towels. the main pool there was an awful smell of drains we tried our best to not be around that pool. the tiles around the main pool were porcelain and they didn't mop them until a grown man fell and smashed his head open and needed to be taken in an ambulance only then did they remove excess water off the floor on that 1 day. *The food, well that was shocking like others said if you like pasta and chips you are good as that was most likely the only edible at tea time, breakfast was the best meal as they had pastries and fresh pancakes fruit and yogurt and typical breakfast ( i didn't try the cooked at breakfast so cant comment) *The queues for drinks day and night was around 20 min every drink as only 1 staff serving most of the time. *The entertainment - well that isn't even worth mentioning apart from shocking !!! kids entertainment was repetitive for 45 min then evening entertainment didn't start until 9.45 and was the same 3 people just dancing every night awful ! * The area there isn't anything around but there is a free shuttle bus to the town and beach - the beach is really lovely so would recommend a trip *the staff were all mostly nice and friendly. we did have a nice few days just shame about the food, "entertainment" and the smell wouldn't return

The staff in general was magnificent, including the cleaners, waiters, and entertainment team. The buffet was more than I expected; the only 2 drawbacks would be the air conditioning being a bit weak and, of course, what everyone complains about: the floor around the pool, which is super slippery. In the 4 days I was there, there were 3 accidents involving other guests.

We really enjoyed our stay at AluaSun Costa Park. For us, one of the great strong points has been the food. We were especially surprised by the pool bar's offerings: the rice was delicious. We also really liked the cocktails and thought it was a great touch that they offered slushies. We stayed in a family room with four single beds. We found the beds very comfortable, although personally I found the pillows a bit thin, something that obviously depends on each person's tastes. It is true that the bathroom is a bit dated, but it is spacious and perfectly serves its purpose. The cleanliness was very good. The best part of our room was, without a doubt, the two terraces: one with views of the sea and the other toward the pools. They were very spacious and had a drying rack, something that is especially practical for a beach stay. In addition, from the room we could see the planes taking off from the airport, something we found curious and that did not bother us. As a small detail to improve, we missed having some clothespins. We found the pools to be adequate and we enjoyed them quite a bit. Mind you, if you are looking for absolute tranquility, it is worth keeping in mind: there are children playing with floats and balls and it is possible to get splashed. Furthermore, only one area has enough depth to be able to stand comfortably, so that part attracts quite a few people. For us it was not a problem at all, but it may be important for other guests. Another of the great positive points is the staff. The treatment was magnificent at all times, both from the restaurant team and from the cleaning and reception staff. They were always willing to help and they did so with a smile. Regarding the location, for us it was not a drawback either that it is not directly next to the beach. The bus service works very well and, in addition, the proximity to the La Colina commuter train station makes it a quite convenient option if you arrive from Málaga by train. Overall, we believe the hotel offers a very good value for the money, especially considering we were on an all-inclusive plan. There are some aspects that could be improved, but in our case, they did not overshadow the experience at all. In fact, we are already thinking about returning next summer. I think that is the best way to summarize our experience: we were very comfortable, we enjoyed both the food and the facilities as well as the staff's treatment, and we would return without hesitation.
