We have booked flights home at our own expense 5 days early !!!!!!! Good points…. Staff especially Victor in the pool bar & Alba. Alba was the animation. She is an absolute credit to the company she works for. Works hard and involved everyone. Food was fine, usual all inclusive, restaurant is clean and there is something g for everyone. No issues with food or drink. Bad points. I do not pay for a 4* holiday and get a 2* hotel and overall service. Several guests have sustained injuries from slipping by the pool. 2 were taken to hospital by ambulance. The blood from the head of one lady hasn’t been cleaned up and several days layered it’s still there. She has the photos. All the floors have uneven broken tiles and are in some places dangerous. Despite requesting that the shower screen was cleaned it remains with the scum on it from years ago, yes it’s that bad. There has been glass on the terrace which has been there 5 days. The toilets are clean until they’ve been used. Almost every public facility has only 1 soap dispenser working unless you’re lucky and both have been filled. Coffee, help yourself to a cup but you’re not getting a saucer or a spoon. All wooden stirrers, just like Macy’s D’s. How is that 4*. Sunbeds and chairs on the terrace. Many broken and cracked. We’ve seen guests holding the legs off the beds as they’ve collapsed beneath them. It’s fine though as all you need to do is dump it in the corner with the other broken ones. The railings around the wooden staircase to the pool are rusting away, literally. Ash trays are rarely emptied, tables aren’t cleared. The lifts. 3 customer lifts, only 1 works. You have to use the service lifts. The entertainment is so so. However MJ and Elvis called in sick and no replacement entertainment. A few customers asked if we could use the room with our own music so we could at least have a drink and a dance. Nope. The rooms. They are old and tired. Neither bothered us BUT……… the only mirror is in the bathroom and the lighting in both the bathroom and bedroom is very dim. You can’t see to put on your make up or dry your hair easily. The air conditioning is next to useless. No kettles, this is supposed to be 4*. Pay extra for safe. Pool towels. Hire a kettle etc etc. The room was visited by the housekeeping staff. They change the towels and make the beds. Changing them if needed. They do NOT clean the room itself. Ours hasn’t been dusted or mopped in 10 days. The sun terrace is an utter disgrace. A handful of old and broken sunbeds along with several parasol bases but the 2 parasols I’ve seen are on the floor in a corner, they are broken. We are absolutely gutted. Like many others we’ve worked hard to come to a decent hotel. It looks beautiful but it’s dreadful. We will never. We are not disabled but a ramp with no rail is not suitable especially with the danger sign next to it all week
