Staff and breakfast is very good. The room was clean and modern. And location is perfect!!
we visited Prague with my mum and had a wonderful stay here! We booked a Deluxe Room overlooking Prague Castle, and the room was lovely. The hotel is set in a beautiful historic building, so there are a few stairs, but a lovely member of staff kindly showed us the way to our room. the rooftop terrace, with its stunning views, as well as the voucher for complimentary drinks. The staff were all lovely and welcoming, and breakfast offered such a great variety that we genuinely didn’t know what to choose! We’d definitely love to come back again next time we visit Prague — perhaps we’ll opt for a room on a lower floor. 😊
We stayed at Wenceslas Square following a recommendation, but unfortunately it was a real disappointment. The hotel feels tired, dated and very basic, certainly not what we expected. Breakfast was particularly poor, with limited choices and food that was far from appetising. Unless you fancy peppers and onions for breakfast, don’t expect much. The lift was constantly broken, making carrying a 20kg suitcase up seven floors a real challenge. Following a complaint about the 80s throwback room with a bath in the middle (no proper shower) we were moved … a lovely young man who helped move our luggage does deserve a mention. The final straw was the rooftop bar, where an Aperol Spritz tasted like little more than soda water. When I politely asked for a little more Aperol, I was told I’d have to pay extra. Hardly great customer service. Overall, this felt more like an overpriced hostel than a hotel. We certainly wouldn’t return. Prague has far better places to stay, so I’d recommend looking elsewhere and doing your research.
