Have stayed at numerous hotels in Benidorm old town over the years but we decided to try out the self catering option. After reading the reviews for The Terralta we decided to give it a go and what a good decision that was so much so we are returning for another week in November. The atmosphere is so relaxing and friendly that at the end of our stay we did not want to leave. We used the local supermarket Consum which is a ten minute walk away for all our groceries. There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel and the number 26 bus takes you to and from the centre of Benidorm, a ticket costs 2 euros. The bus runs hourly until 9pm. After that a taxi costs around 7 euros. The hotel and apartments are comfortable, well equiped and spotlessly clean. We are a retired couple in our sixties and we absolutely loved it. We noticed a mixture of guests, young couples, families and older guests like us. A great place to stay.

Great week away at the Terralta. The apartment was clean and spacious. With good air-con, and fully equipped kitchen. The beds were really comfortable and we slept great. The balcony was huge and we got the sun late afternoon after being at the pool all day. The pool was great and plenty of sun loungers to choose from. The pool doesn’t open until 10am and there is a no reserving sun loungers policy so so no need to worry about people reserving sun loungers at stupid o’clock then not using them most of the day. We paid €8 per person each morning for the buffet breakfast which had great options. Some evenings we went for dinner and it was €16 per person which again was great value for money as wine, beer, water and soft drinks are included. The food was delicious. The location was great. Very peaceful and only a 10 minute walk down to the old town. We got taxis into Benidorm most nights which was around €10 to €12 euros each way. We had an amazing week, and would highly recommend this hotel.

Just returned from these lovely apartments after an enjoyable week on half board plus. Perfect if you aren't bothered about the strip and happy to be located in a quiet location away it all. All staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. We found the meals in the dining room were all excellent but as always food always seem to be subjective amongst guests. There was a huge number of sporting participants from around the globe also staying at Terralta In all a total different vibe here, informal dining and plenty of exercise walking up the hill!. Perfect for families with small ones and also for others like ourselves who wanted a base in a quiet location. Being fit and able to walk without issue there was no issue but the location could be a problem for those wanting a different holiday and less mobile. Taxis seemed plentiful as there was a constant stream of them arriving and departing the complex. Definitely would consider using Terralta again. Very clean, friendly staff and in all, a fantastic stay. Would consider using this aparthotel again on any future Benidorm trip.
