Avoid rooms are dirty not cleaned shower trap full of hair and dirt took 3 days to get cleaned shower full of lime scale smell from shower /sink was awful ,paper cups provided in room ,mini bar advertised is a fridge with two bottles of water that if it’s replenished one shower towel between two asked for another never given ,bar closed at 10.30 have to buy if you want drink that’s if the bar has not run out this happened on numerous occasions could not even get water,glasses and cups in restaurant where dirty stain on mattress protector ,toilet seat and rim filthy ,surfaces dirty had to clean on arrival,cleaners do not clean daily and when they do don’t empty bins or replenish toilet paper had to go and look for some out of cleaning trolly that was outside of room right in front of fire exit ,this is definitely not a 4 star hotel I would not even give it a one pictures say it all

We have just spent a week at the hotel. The hotel itself is modern looking and is in a fantastic location for shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel ran out of drinks (alcoholic) everyday and sometimes even bottled water. There was also no entertainment so you have to make your own. I would suggest getting your duty free at the airport and take a pack of playing cards to be on the safe side.
We opted for a garden view room which consisted of a concrete pillar view, two foot of garden, metal fence and a busy road. Opt for a standard room if you want a balcony and a larger room.

Booked with Loveholidays to go to Side Square Hotel, Side, Turkey. Based on the photos of the hotel and it being rated 4* and having positive reviews (on Love holidays site) when we booked we were looking forward to our week away. Approximately 6 days before we were due to depart my wife was told by a friend that they had heard that the hotel had been removed from the Loveholidays site due to recent bad reports. Upon checking we couldn’t find the hotel so contacted loveholidays to see if we could get an accommodation change due to the hotel appearing to be no longer on their advertised hotels. We were informed that it was less than 5 days before we were due to departure so this couldn’t happen and that the hotel was still one they used. When querying that the hotel was rated at 4* but the recent reviews suggested nothing of the sort the advisor basically said we had the chance to see reviews and make and informed choice before we booked therefore loveholidays would not accept liability if the hotel turned out to be terrible and didn’t match the 4* rating the advertised for sale. I spoke with a manager the following day who gave me £100 back for the inconvenience and stated that if there was any issues on the holiday I was to contact them to let them know.
We arrived to a room that was sub par on the cleanliness front with the floors not having been cleaned and mould in the shower. We went out for a few drinks after checking in as the bar shut at 10.30pm the earliest I’ve ever experienced at an all inclusive. The following morning at breakfast there was a limited amount of stuff to eat but due to my very British tastes I wasn’t going to moan about that as I wouldn’t take continental breakfast anyway. The beer on draft at the pool bar then ran out the first afternoon then subsequent bars and never returned all holiday. This was substituted with bottled beer that was currently served warm in 35degree heat and then the Vodka ran out, mixers were running out and were not replaced until the following days saving the hotel from serving drinks. The food at lunch was definitely aimed towards an Eastern European market with nothing I found palatable then was recycled back for dinner time when not used. I attempted to contact loveholidays via the app but the complaints page would not respond so complained to the rep and the Management but nothing was done. It took three days for our floor to be brushed in the room and that was only because my wife chased down a cleaner and took her to the room to brush the floor. For Loveholidays to advertise this complex as 4* without verification is a complete joke and they for me have totally misrepresented the holiday I booked. It ended up costing me a fortune in eating out and drinking every night when this should have been supplied in an all inclusive at an acceptable standard. I won’t use this company to book a holiday again as I feel totally cheated on what I was sold and when I originally brought my concerns to them it was implied that it was my fault that I booked this hotel as I should have researched it better….. disgusted!
