Great hotel. Staff are so polite and helpful. Lucia on reception was so helpfull and nice. Roberto and the reps are brilliant at their jobs. Eduardo and Juan always at hand to help if needed. Highly recommend it.

Currently staying here and have stayed before but don't think we'll be back. The sunbed situation is out of control. We finished breakfast before 9 and went out to find that all of the sunbeds had been taken and only a handful of people were sitting around the pool despite notices clearly staying that sunbeds can't be reserved both around the pool area and in the hotel itself. The pool doesnt open until 10. There was a queue for the section around the pool which is closed off until 10 and once opened, it was a free for all with people running to get a sunbed. A slipping hazard and really embarrassing to watch. One woman had reserved 10 sunbeds and was telling people she'd been up since 06.30. The rest of the family was nowhere to be seen. One row of 12 beds was completely reserved and when we left at 4pm, no one had come to use them yet. Asked the reception about this and they said to speak to the pool staff. The pool staff said to speak to reception. What's the point in staying here if you can't use the pool? I am 6 months pregnant and ended up sitting on the floor under a tree until luckily one of the pool staff found us two beds which he said we could only have because someone had reserved them with hotel towels. At reception one person was also complaining as there was nowhere for their disabled daughter to sit. Other than that, hotel is okay. Clean enough and good location but quite basic. Have heard that other hotels in the area have better systems in place for getting sunbeds so would go there instead next time.

We have been coming to this hotel for years and we loved it …never again I cannot believe that you literally have to get up at 7.00am to get a bed …ridiculous….its not cheap to stay here but the fact you cannot get a bed unless you wake up early is not good….we had to pay €16 for beds on the beach …management need to do something as we watched a Spanish family have 4 beds and if they were there half hour during the day the rest of the time the beds weren’t used disgraceful.

My favourite holiday yet and it was massively due to the amazing entertainment staff who truly went above and beyond to not only meet the needs of others but to provide an extraordinary ,fun and friendly atmosphere where everyone feels included and welcomed by the most loving staff,they truly did make me feel so welcome and wanted in this hotel.Wanted to especially commend Pablo for his outstanding work in the kids club as well as another girl who was helping with him at the kids club however I am not so sure of her name(maybe Chloe?). I would also like to recognise Raul for his extreme kindness and friendliness to others including taking the time to have a conversation with everyone and being committed to the yoga in the mornings .I don’t for sure know his name but there was someone who was helping with the tech alot(maybe every night) and he was really funny and brought up the mood ,same with Alberto.And I would really love to recognise Gonzalo (not so sure if that is his name)He was Outsanding at the aqua gym and you could really tell he loved what he was doing and he encouraged everyone to join in and made everyone feel welcome to joining ,he was also super with the kids playing lots of games with them! I usually go on a different holiday every year however this holiday and the entertainment staff have truly made me and my family want to keep returning here every year.The hotel is also a perfect distance from absalutely everything yet doesn’t feel too busy around you at the same time.One slight complaint would have to be that the rooms were very basic and just had what you needed to function yet the facilities in the room were good it lacked modern living standards and could use with an upgrade e.g not enough mirrors ,balcony doors were very stiff and one of the balcony doors wouldn’t close fully however this personally did not bother me too much as the atmosphere of the hotel didn’t make me want to be in my room much as I had fomo from what was happening down by the pool and beach ahaha.Overall I would rate this holiday a 10/10 definitely my favourite and would strongly recommend

We’re coming to the end of another fantastic holiday at Sol Puerto Marina, and once again it hasn’t disappointed. This is our second year staying here, and we’re already planning to return next year. The location is hard to beat. It’s right on the beachfront, with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars just a short walk away. There’s a taxi rank directly outside the hotel, and it’s only around a 20-minute journey from the airport, making transfers quick and easy. The staff are always warm, friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The entertainment team does a great job, and the facilities are excellent, making it a lovely place for a family holiday. My only criticism is the issue with sunbed reserving. By 7:30 a.m., most of the sunbeds outside the pool area have already been reserved and it appears that some are even being used by people who aren’t staying at the hotel. It would really improve the guest experience if the hotel enforced its sunbed policy more consistently to ensure fair access for everyone. Overall, another wonderful stay, and we’re looking forward to coming back again next year.
